FROM HAWAII....May 2012
It’s May! I can’t believe I’ve been here for 4 months now.. time flies!
Since I’ve been here, I have received $2,803.76 in support. Praise God!
MONTHLY BREAKDOWN:
January- $531.45February- $729.65March- $606.80April- $309.80May- $625.86
I AM INCREDIBLY BLESSED TO HAVE EACH OF YOU PARTNERING WITH ME THROUGH PRAYER AND
FINANCES
I wouldn’t be able to pursue this calling on my life, see the transformation in the lives of these students or the challenge and growth in my own life if it weren’t for you guys. I greatly appreciate the continued backing in prayer and love as I do one of the hardest tasks I’ve ever found myself doing.
As hard as it sometimes is I love where I am and what I’m doing. There’s no greater joy than watching others fall more deeply in love with Jesus, have crazy revelations, learn their identity as sons and daughters, embrace it, run full force after their Creator and bring others with them. It’s one of the most trying times of my life, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Thank you for partnering with me!

I’VE CONTINUALLY TALKED ABOUT HOW BUSY WE
ARE...
ABOVE IS A TYPICAL WEEK Of course some of those are subject to change based on the week, but this is usually what I’m doing school wise. Personal life revolves around this. I’ve committed 6 months of my time solely to this school and students, besides Jesus they’re #1 priority. And often times, planning/preparation/grunt work takes place in the evenings when everything is done.
MY RESPONSIBILITIES:In short:I am in charge of all school finances which means I keep on top of the budget, student p a y m e n t s , o u t r e a c h i n f o r m a t i o n , reimbursements and honorariums. I’m also
the admin for the school so I help do paper work, processing, copies, emails, updates and calendars. In addition to that I am leading an outreach team to Greece. With that comes planning our time, staying in touch with contacts, organizing team meetings and prayer times, doing small groups and 4 one-on-ones a week. It’s a continuous process of discipleship, walking alongside our students through prayer, encouragement and correction.
MY CO-LEADER’S FATHER CAME AND SPOKE IN OUR SCHOOL TWO WEEKS AGO..He recently put up a Facebook note about what he saw and experienced while he was here. It’s so hard for me explain what life here is like, but I think he did a great job giving an outsiders perspective on the environment and community here.

Not everything we do is just work.. we have a lot of fun, too :)
OUR DAYS ARE FULL OF LECTURE, INTERCESSION, MEETINGS AND OTHER MANDATORY THINGS..
but we like to spice things up a bit and do some out of the ordinary stuff. Especially now that we’re finding
ourselves right in the middle of lecture phase. This half way point gets stressful, so last Thursday, having met all of our requirements for the week, we took a day off and did a massive slip ‘n slide for our school. It was an
amazing detox day and full of lots of laughs and dangerous feats.

Two weeks ago we had teaching on the Father Heart of God and afterwards 26 of our 56 students wanted to be baptized. What a great day or rejoicing that was! This is why I do what I do! To see lives radically
encountered, hearts transformed, and

My weekends are usually full of adventuring and exploring new places on the island. We often have excursions to different places like Green Sands Beach, South Point for cliff jumping, Waipio Valley for hiking or
Mauna Kea for star gazing. I often prefer to find the local off-roading places, secluded beaches or places that are
less touristy.
