Technical data and terms of acceptance of advertising orders
1. The purchaser of advertisements issued by Burda Media Poland is obliged to submit the writ-ten order including: :
● exact address of the agency or the advertiser;
● the title of the magazine in which the advertise-ment is to be released;
● the date of publication of the advertisement;
● format of the advertisement;
● contact details of a person authorized to contact the Advertising Office of Burda Media Poland.
2. Burda Media Poland will confirm in writing (2 days at the latest after the acceptance of an order) an order in accordance with the conditions listed in point 1. In case of any discrepancies or inconsistencies the Advertising Office will ask for clarification. Confirmed order with its price, added due rebates and com-mission for the agency will be delivered by post, fax or e-mail.
● On starting cooperation it is obligatory for the contracting entity to provide the Advertising Office with the extract from the Commercial Registry.
● The agency or the advertiser is fully liable for the text and photograph content and relieves Burda Media Poland from any liability towards third parties.
● The agency or the advertiser is liable for timely, error-free submission of materials which are in compliance with technical requirements and specifications stated in the price list.
● Burda Media Poland is entitled to refuse publi-shing of an advertisement which does not com-ply with the applicable laws or violates common-ly accepted social rules.
● The above entry refers to all the inserts (glue inserts and loose inserts) in all the magazines of Burda Media Poland. In case of the refusal of a publication, the agency or the advertiser will be informed by the Advertising Office within 2 wor-king days from receiving the materials.
● Advertisements or sponsored texts which con-tent and graphic design are similar to editorial texts shall be clearly marked with the words “advertisement” or “sponsored text”.
● Burda Media Poland ensures the insertion of the advertisement in accordance with technical merits of the materials provided by the agency or the advertiser (proof ).
● In case of hidden defects of the material, invisible at the preparation stage and disclosed when printed, the complaint of the agency or the advertiser will not be accepted. The Agency or the Advertiser is charged with the cost of any needed technical adjustments.
