Programme Admission Routes
Under 20 years of age (must be 17 yrs)
• NCEA
20 years of age and over:
• Case by case

Programme Admission Routes
NCEA
• A minimum of 42 credits at Level 3 or higher on the NQF, (including a minimum of 14 credits at Level 3 or higher in English, Maths and one Science), plus
• A minimum of 14 credits at Level 1 or higher in Mathematics, plus
• A minimum of 8 credits at Level 2 or higher in English or Te Reo Maori; 4 credits must be in reading and 4 credits must be in writing.
Programme Admission Routes
• Most of our applicants would have a minimum of 60 credits at level 3
• We would expect a minimum 14 credits in Maths and Physics (Level 3)
• If applicant has not taken physics then a minimum of 14 credits in Chemistry (Level 3)

Applicants will be at an advantage if they:
• Demonstrate academic achievement in excess of the admission requirements
• Demonstrate their suitability for medical imaging as stated in a confidential reference from an employer or school principal
• Have previous life experience appropriate to medical imaging
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical imaging and are motivated.
