A BIG “THANK YOU!” TO OUR CENSUS VOLUNTEERS

A big THANK YOU to these members of our community who donated their time: Elda Salinas, Diana Bali Taylor, Nancy Schott, Irma Flores, Helen McGrady, Yolanda Chabot, Irma Villarreal, Carol & Alan Stephan, and Dolores Valdez.

Your help has been invaluable!

Thank you!

overview of each of the four gospels,

examining what is unique in each and

the faith context of the communi es

today. Please bring your New

Sponsor a Teen from Seton Home

2012

Share God’s Love

“You did not choose me,

I chose you” John 15:16

Our Women of the Well Ministry (W.O.W.) is sponsoring their annual retreat for the girls at Seton Home. This retreat is put on by teenage girls from our parish and surrounding parishes. Your donation will help give a teenage mom from the home the experi-ence of knowing Christ and His abundant love.

Seton Home focuses its services exclusively on homeless or abused teens who are pregnant or parenting their children, whom they have chosen to keep. The retreat is scheduled for Saturday, August 4. A donation of $25 will go towards the cost of any materials needed to host the retreat (such as lunch, a t-shirt gift to the girls, etc.).

If you would like to write a “love letter” to the girls, that is also appreciated and needed.

For more information, call Sarah Garcia at 355-2263.

Thank you for sharing your love.

Donations may be mailed to:

STAND UP AND

BE COUNTED!

As Catholics we are constantly called to live out our faith in our daily lives. In our charities, we comfort the sick, feed the hungry, care for the poor, protect life. In the marketplace, our values guide us. We strive everywhere to practice what we preach. Across America, our right to live out our faith is being threatened—from Washington forcing Catholic institutions to provide services that contradict our beliefs, to state governments prohibiting our charities from serving the most vulnerable. And around the world, it’s even worse—Catholics face persecution and even death for their witness. These rights are fundamental. They belong to each and every human being. We cannot let them be trampled. We cannot remain silent. Please join the movement to protect our right to live out our faith. Sign up to learn how you can help save our religious freedom.
