In Term 1, the educarers planned activities according to the theme “All About Me” which covered units such as My Face, My Body and My Feelings. I am truly happy to see our infants continuing their learning journey with us as they promote to the Toddler Programme. As for those who newly joined us, thank you for putting your trust in us to nurture your precious ones. We hope that you will continue to give us your support! Through this newsletter, you will be able to see the activities that your little ones are being involved in for their holistic development. It is heart warming to see how every infant grows as they reach milestone upon milestone. Do look through the newsletter and do also take the opportunity to bond with your child by trying out the take home activities that the educarers had suggested! Tea Session Cum
Orientation
21/1/2017
During our tea session, our parents were involved in an Art & Craft activity that encourages them
to have quality bonding time with their little ones while creating their masterpieces. They had
created their version of a rooster in conjunction with celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Our parents were also engaged in casual conversations with our infant care educarers.

The Year

Rooster
2017
This year, we celebrated Lunar New Year with our little ones by encouraging parents to dress them up in red or traditional clothing. The atmosphere was filled with Lunar New Year songs, tasting of oranges and discovering hongbaos of different textures. Our infants were dressed to impress and were ready to face the year of the rooster!

In conjunction with the theme "All About Me”, our infants learnt about themselves through colouring. They were able to choose between the picture of a ‘boy’ and a ‘girl’.
Through multi-sensory learning, our infants did finger-painting. They dipped their fingers into the paint and painted within the orange picture.

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, our infants learnt about the Chinese zodiac; Rooster. They explored their learning
through scribbling using crayons.
Our little infant is scribbling the picture of a ‘Happy Face’. He enjoyed himself making a Happy Face Lollipop.

In this activity, the infants enhanced their fine and gross motor skills by touching the texture of a ball and
the sensorial board, throwing the ball towards their peers, pressing buttons, moving the mobile toy car by
using their legs and pushing the musical pull & push toys.
