The presentation presents pictures from the archives of the John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice Ltd.
Krakow Airport is the biggest regional airport in Poland. In 2011 it handled more than 3 million passengers. The airport strategic location, directly at regional roads and the A4 motorway, as well as the fast railway link with Kraków city centre and the main railway station (17 minutes), are Kraków Airport's great strengths.
17 carriers offer flights to 63 cities around the world.
In the summer season 2012 the airport offers regular and charter connections to 80 airports in 28 countries. In the Summer 2012 season the airport is cooperating with 20 airlines, including 11 legacy and 9 low-cost airlines.
In 2015 a modernization process of Kraków Airport will have finished.

operates within the structure of the Department of Information, Tourism and City Promotion
The main objective of the Krakow Convention Bureau is to promote Krakow as an interesting place for business meetings, congresses and conferences as well as incentives. The office also organizes study tours for professional congress organizers, planners and journalists in order to present the possibilities and advantages of the conference center.
Since May 2009, Krakow Convention Bureau has operated as a separate division.
Currently there are 5 people working in KCB.
