Graves was born on July 9th 1934 in Indianapolis Indiana.

o Michael Received his training at the university of Cincinnati.

o After receiving the degree of Bachelor of science in architecture in 1958, Michael went to Harvard university graduate school of design and received a master of Architecture degree the following year.

accepted a teaching position at

Princeton University. Michael is

now the Schirmer professor of

Architecture at Princeton.

paralyzed from the waist down.
