Since our founding in 1973, Delta Microwave has been designing, manufacturing, and testing standard and custom microwave components and assemblies for military, space, and commercial applications.
We focus on providing advanced solutions for customer’s challenging microwave requirements. The result is a broad product offering that includes filters, amplifiers, passive products, multiplexers, and integrated assemblies covering frequencies from 1 MHz to 43.5 GHz with output power
up to 1.5 kW and power handling up to 25 kW.
Delta Microwave has decades of experience producing products with the highest quality, performance, and reliability for the warfighter, space and for other demanding aerospace requirements. Our proprietary designs, procedures, and patents enable us to offer better service and products at lower costs.
Delta Microwave is located in Oxnard, California. The facility is located in a high-
tech corridor northwest of Los Angeles conveniently close to major freeways and in close proximity to Burbank (BUR) and Los Angeles (LAX) airports. The wealth of engineering and manufacturing talent in the local area enables us to maintain a competitive edge in the constantly changing RF and microwave industry.
Our 36,000-square-foot facility with full engineering, drafting, machine shop, assembly, and electrical and environmental testing on-site provides the means to manufacture custom
components affordably and quickly. Custom components with tough mechanical, electrical, and environmental specifications have always been the cornerstone of Delta Microwave's success. We delivered our first low noise amplifier on the first GPS receiver built by Magnavox in 1979. Today every range safety system in the country has a Delta Microwave low noise filter amplifier and our LNAs are used on various astronomy, avionics, instrumentation, navigation, radar, satcom, telemetry applications in the space and military industry.

Custom Ku-Band low noise amplifier assembly. This device provides 40 dB of gain, with 1.2 dB noise figure. WR 62 input, with 3.5 mm connector output. The assembly is hermetic and laser welded.
Delta Microwave’s low noise amplifiers utilize single ended, distributed and balanced circuits designed for specific frequencies to achieve lowest noise figure performance. Designs cover frequencies from 100 MHz to 40 GHz. We specialize in both narrow band and broad band designs with low noise figure and tight gain flatness over frequency. Our modular designs allow flexibility in cascading to meet customer specific gain and power requirements. LNA manufacturing processes employ both packaged parts and bare die chip and wire components built in accordance with MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-STD-883.

Designs cover frequencies from 100 MHz to 40 GHz. We specialize in both narrow band and broad band designs for pulse and CW operation. Our focus is on maximizing module level efficiency, efficient low-loss combining and good thermal interface for heat transfer. Our modular designs allow flexibility in cascading to meet customer specific gain and power requirements. SSPA manufacturing processes employ both packaged parts and bare die chip and wire components built in accordance with MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-STD-883.
Delta Microwave designs and manufactures high efficiency SSPAs for radar, communication, jamming, EW and industrial/instrumentation systems. Power levels range from few Watts to 2kW. SSPA designs include primarily GaN based products with some GaAs products at lower power levels. Design topologies are application specific including single ended, balanced, push-pull, Doherty and others.

In 2012 Delta Microwave delivered over 7,000 Filter/Amplifier Assemblies to various Aerospace, Military, and Space Prime contractors.
Our core filter and amplifier product expertise is at the heart of our integrated microwave assemblies. Coupling filters with other active and passive microwave devices such as couplers, limiters, power dividers, amplifiers, circulators, limiters, switches, isolators, multipliers are a natural extension of Delta Microwave’s capability.
Integrated assemblies can reduce size, weight, and cost while improving electrical performance and reliability.
