Thanks to all who attended our first luncheon of 2014 last month We had one of our own special members Richard Bish-op with Settlement Planners Inc speak to our Association about ldquoThe Evolution of the Structured Settlement Industryrdquo Not only did he inform us on the benefits of structured settlements he shared a very personal story involving his son Sam Belknap Sam was in attendance as well I would like to thank both of them for their wonderful presentation

The January 17 2014 meeting of the Mid Valley luncheon was well-attended by many Claims Profes-sionals Rick Bishop of Settlement Planners Inc gave a very personal heartwarming presentation in discuss-ing the Evolution of Settlement Planning
Ricks Power Point Presentation was not possible because a cord to his computer was missing He then gave us his personal story
Rick has been involved in the Financial Services business since 1974 In 1982 he was an Insurance Salesperson when his friend asked Rick can you do a Trust Fund for usrdquo That started his journey and he has been in the industry now for 32 years
Along the way Rick has pursued ongoing continu-ing education to keep himself and his company on the forefront of the industry He completed a course in 1996 at Notre Dame In-depth view of Planningrdquo In 2009 Rick completed an intensive certification course at Texas Tech There are only 600 people in the country that are Licensed for Settlement Planning
It became very personal for him in 2001 when a member of his family was in a terrible automobile accident It involved brain damage and years of re-covery plus re-occurring episodes Rick was able to do a Settlement for him that has paid him well all these years
Statistically when people receive a large amount of money he stated 30 use all the money within three years and 90 use up all the money within five years
Settlement Planning is able to save people money on their taxes and provide for their needs for a lifetime
The meeting included raffle prizes Sherry Weno-grad of Frontier Adjusters and Katie Rowe of Water Damage Recovery won the Pot of Gold Please join us on February 21st for the next Mid Valley Luncheon

Ladders are consistently ranked in the top 10 OSHA violations and are one of the most common tools used on a day to day basis Most of us have been climbing ladders our whole life Go to a park and count the ladders in a park They are for little kids not for professionals It is because we have been
climbing ladders our whole life Andy believes it is one reason why there are so many accidents and fatalities each year We get complacent lazy and say ldquowhat could possible go wrong Irsquove been doing this my whole liferdquo

The January 17 2014 meeting of the Mid Valley luncheon was well-attended by many Claims Profes-sionals Rick Bishop of Settlement Planners Inc gave a very personal heartwarming presentation in discuss-ing the Evolution of Settlement Planning
Ricks Power Point Presentation was not possible because a cord to his computer was missing He then gave us his personal story
Rick has been involved in the Financial Services business since 1974 In 1982 he was an Insurance Salesperson when his friend asked Rick can you do a Trust Fund for usrdquo That started his journey and he has been in the industry now for 32 years
Along the way Rick has pursued ongoing continu-ing education to keep himself and his company on the forefront of the industry He completed a course in 1996 at Notre Dame In-depth view of Planningrdquo In 2009 Rick completed an intensive certification course at Texas Tech There are only 600 people in the country that are Licensed for Settlement Planning
It became very personal for him in 2001 when a member of his family was in a terrible automobile accident It involved brain damage and years of re-covery plus re-occurring episodes Rick was able to do a Settlement for him that has paid him well all these years
Statistically when people receive a large amount of money he stated 30 use all the money within three years and 90 use up all the money within five years
Settlement Planning is able to save people money on their taxes and provide for their needs for a lifetime

Ladders are consistently ranked in the top 10 OSHA violations and are one of the most common tools used on a day to day basis Most of us have been climbing ladders our whole life Go to a park and count the ladders in a park They are for little kids not for professionals It is because we have been

Along the way Rick has pursued ongoing continu-ing education to keep himself and his company on the forefront of the industry He completed a course in 1996 at Notre Dame In-depth view of Planningrdquo In 2009 Rick completed an intensive certification course at Texas Tech There are only 600 people in the country that are Licensed for Settlement Planning
It became very personal for him in 2001 when a member of his family was in a terrible automobile accident It involved brain damage and years of re-covery plus re-occurring episodes Rick was able to do a Settlement for him that has paid him well all these years
Statistically when people receive a large amount of money he stated 30 use all the money within three years and 90 use up all the money within five years
