Caring for the environmentDisposal of the packingmaterial The transport and protective packinghas been selected from materialswhich are environmentally friendly fordisposal and can normally be recycled.

Rather than just throwing these ma-terials away, please ensure they are of-fered for recycling.

Disposal of your old machineOld machines contain materials whichcan be reclaimed or recycled. Pleasecontact your dealer, your local wastecollection centre or scrap merchantabout potential recycling schemes,before disposing of the appliance.

Ensure that the machine presents nodanger to children while being storedfor disposal. See the appropriate ad-vice in the "Warning and Safety instruc-tions".

Warning and Safety instructionsThis appliance complies with all rele-vant legal safety requirements. Im-proper use of the appliance can,however, present a risk of both per-sonal injury and material damage.

Before installation and before usingthe appliance for the first time, readthe operating instructions carefully. They contain important notes onsafety, on the operation and care ofthe appliance. This way you willavoid the risk of accidents and dam-age to the appliance.Do not let children access the ap-pliance or its controls. Supervise itsuse by the elderly or infirm.

Keep these instructions in a safeplace and pass them on to any fu-ture user.

Correct usageThe appliance is intended for do-mestic use to cook food, and in

particular to bake, roast, defrost, cook,dry fruit etc, and to grill. Any otherusage is at the owner’s risk and couldbe dangerous. The manufacturer can-not be held responsible for damagecaused by improper use of the ap-pliance.

Technical safetyBefore connecting the appliance tothe mains supply make sure that

the voltage and frequency correspondto the rating on the data plate, other-wise the appliance could be damaged.Consult a competent person if in doubt.

The electrical safety of this ap-pliance can only be guaranteed

when continuity is complete betweenthe appliance and an effective earthingsystem, which complies with local andnational regulations. It is most import-ant that this basic safety requirement istested by a qualified electrician. Themanufacturer cannot be held respon-sible for the consequences of an inade-quate earthing system.

This appliance must only be oper-ated as a built-in appliance. This is

necessary to ensure that all electricalcomponents are shielded.

Never open the casing of the ap-pliance.

Tampering with electrical connections orcomponents and mechanical parts ishighly dangerous to the user and cancause operational faults.

Installation work and repairs mayonly be carried out by suitably

qualified and competent persons to en-sure safety. Repairs and other work byunqualified persons could be dan-gerous. The manufacturer cannot beheld responsible for unauthorized work.

The appliance is only completelyisolated from the electricity supply

when:

– it is switched off at the wall socket – or the mains fuse is withdrawn– or the screw-out fuse is removed (in

countries where this is applicable).

Do not connect the appliance tothe mains electricity supply by an

extension lead.Extension leads do not guarantee therequired safety of the appliance, (e.g.danger of overheating).

The oven is designed to be builtinto a tall unit. If you wish to install

it in a base unit, the stainless steel railabove the control panel must be re-placed by a sealing strip. The sealingstrip offers additional protection fromany liquids that might spill down fromthe worktop, and can be purchasedfrom the Miele Spare Parts dept.

Use

Caution, danger of burning.High temperatures are produced bythe oven.

Great care should be taken to en-sure that small children do not

touch the appliance when it is beingused. The hob and also external partsof the oven such as the door glass,vents and control panel can becomequite hot.

For cookers with a hob turn handles in-wards, and ensure children cannot pullpans down on themselves.

Oven

Use of heat-resistant oven glovesis recommended, when placing

food in the oven, turning or removing it.When working with "Conventional" heat-ing or when grilling, the element in theroof of the oven and the guard platebecome very hot, and there is a dangerof being burnt.

Wait until the grill element hascooled down before lowering it for

cleaning, to avoid the danger of burn-ing.

Do not use force to pull it down asthis can cause the element to

break.

Use only a Miele roast probe (coretemperature probe) as supplied

with this appliance. If a replacement isnecessary it can be obtained from theMiele Spare Parts dept or a Miele spe-cialist dealer. After using do not remove the roastprobe until the oven interior is cool.

When not in use do not leave theroast probe in the oven, especially

when grilling. High grill temperaturescould damage it.

Do not use plastic containers.They may melt at high tempera-

tures. The oven could be damaged.

Do not heat up unopened tins orjars of food in the oven, as press-

ure can build up and they may ex-plode. This could result in injury ordamage.

Do not push pots and pans aroundon the oven floor as this could

damage the surface.

Do not lean or sit on the open ovendoor, or place heavy items on it.

This could damage the appliance. Takecare in the region of the hinges. Theoven door can support a maximumload of 10 kg.

Cover any food which is left in theoven to be kept hot. This avoids

the food drying out. It also preventssteam condensing and possibly lead-ing to moisture damage in the oven.

If food is left in the oven after cook-ing, e.g. to take advantage of the

residual heat, select the lowest tem-perature available. Leave the functionselector switch at the position set.Do not switch the appliance off until thefood has been removed. Otherwise there may be a build-up ofcondensation which could adversely af-fect the oven interior, and externally thecontrol panel, the worktop surface orsurrounding kitchen furniture.

Put any deep frozen products suchas pizza on baking paper on the

rack. Do not place them on the bakingtray or grill pan. This could cause themetal to distort to such an extent that itmight be difficult to remove thetray/pan from the oven. The distortionwould increase with subsequent use.

General notes

Do not leave the appliance unat-tended when cooking with oils and

fats as these can be a fire hazard ifallowed to overheat.

Do not use the oven to heat up theroom. Due to the high tempera-

tures radiated, objects left near theoven or hob could catch fire.

When using kitchen appliancesconnected to sockets near the

oven, ensure that the cable cannotcome in contact with the hot cookingzones or get trapped in a hot ovendoor, which could melt the cable insula-tion and be dangerous.Danger of electric shock.

Always ensure that food is suffi-ciently cooked or reheated. Many

factors will affect the overall cookingtime, including the size and amount offood, its temperature, changes to therecipe and the shape and size of cook-ing container. Some foods may containmicro organisms which are only de-stroyed by thorough cooking. Thereforewhen cooking or reheating foods, e.g.poultry, it is particularly important thatfood is fully cooked through. If in doubtselect a longer cooking or reheatingtime.It is important that the heat is allowedto spread evenly throughout the foodbeing cooked.This can be achieved by stirring and/orturning the food, and by observing asufficiently long standing time, whichshould be added to the time neededfor cooking, reheating or defrosting.

Under no circumstances use asteam cleaner to clean this ap-

pliance. Pressurised steam could giverise to a short circuit.

Using alcohol in your recipes:often alcoholic drinks such as rum,

cognac, wine etc are used when pre-paring dishes and oven-cooking them.The high temperatures can cause thealcohol to separate out.Please take note that under adverse cir-cumstances the alcohol can catch lighton the hot elements.

In countries which may be subjectto infestation by cockroaches or

other vermin, pay particular attention tokeeping the appliance and its surround-ings in a clean condition at all times. Any damage which might be causedby cockroaches or other vermin will notbe covered by the appliance guarantee.

Disposal of your old machineBefore discarding an old machineswitch off and disconnect it from

the power supply. This should be doneby a competent person. Cut off andrender any plug useless.Cut off the cable directly behind themachine to prevent misuse.

The manufacturer cannot be heldliable for damage caused by non-compliance with safety instructions.

Safety featureOperating lock for oven andhob cooking zonesThe operating lock can be activated toprevent the oven or hob beingswitched on unintentionally, by childrenfor example.

The operating lock is activated as fol-lows:

The oven function selector must beat the "0" setting.

Press the " p" button until the keysymbol appears in the display field.

The oven (and cooking zones if applic-able) can now not be switched on.

To cancel the operating lock:

Turn the oven function selector to anyoven function.

Press the " p" until the key symbol inthe display field disappears.

Before using for the first timeTo set the time of dayWhen the appliance is first connectedto the power supply, or after a powercut "12:00" and the symbols "f" and")" flash in the display.

Press the buttons "f" and ")" atthe same time.

The following light up– "12:00" in the display,– the "+/–" button indicator light.

Now immediately, while the indicatorlight for the "+/–" button is still on,enter the time in hours:minutes withthe "+" or "–" buttons.

When the indicator light for the "+/–" but-ton goes out, the time of day has beenset and the display will change at one-minute intervals. The colon flashes.

If your appliance is also fitted with thereceiver for the radio controlled clocksignal, the time is set automatically(see separate operating instructions forthe radio controlled clock).

Cleaning the appliance

Oven interior

Wipe out the oven interior usingwarm water and a little washing upliquid. Dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Do not close the oven door until theoven interior is dry.

Rinse the accessories.

New appliances have a slight smell onfirst use. Running the oven for at leastan hour at a high temperature will dissi-pate this more quickly.

Turn the oven function selector to"Fan Heat D".

Now immediately, while the indicatorlight for the "+/–" button is still on, alterthe oven temperature.

Select the highest temperature withthe "+" button.

Depending on model, the timer canalso be used to set the finish time.

Ensure the room is well ventilatedduring this process.

Description of the oven systemsFan Heat DThis system works by the circulation ofheated air.

A fan situated on the back wall of theoven sucks in the air, heats it over aring element and blows the heated airthrough the carefully spaced openingsin the rear panel of the oven.

The oven does not usually need to bepre-heated as the heated air reachesthe food straight away. Exception: Pre-heat the oven whenroasting meat or baking bread madewith dark flour.

Using the fan heating system you canbake and roast on different levels at thesame time.

The heated air used by this system isof a lower temperature than that usedwith the "Conventional" heating system.

If a temperature of at least 140°C is se-lected, the "rapid heat-up" feature is ac-tivated.The "Top Heat" heating element is alsoswitched on automatically so that theappliance heats up more rapidly. Thissaves energy.

Auto Roast EThis setting offers the "Fan Heat" with"Auto Roast". The oven heats initially toa high temperature which seals themeat to keep it succulent and tasty.

As soon as the high temperature hasbeen reached, the oven temperature isautomatically returned to the pre-selected setting.

If a temperature of at least 140°C is se-lected, the "rapid heat-up" feature is ac-tivated.The "Top Heat" heating element is alsoswitched on automatically so that theappliance heats up more rapidly. Thissaves energy.

Conventional heating AWith this conventional method of heat-ing, radiant heat is directed on the foodfrom above and below.

Pre-heating the oven is only necessarywhen – baking biscuits or cakes with a

short cooking time (up to approx.30 minutes),

– baking some types of doughs,– baking bread made with dark flour,– roasting a joint of meat.

If a temperature of at least 150°C is se-lected, the "rapid heat-up" feature is ac-tivated.The fan and its heating element arealso switched on automatically so thatthe appliance heats up more rapidly.This saves energy.

Defrost GDefrost can be operated without heat-ing, or at a temperature of up to 50°C.When the defrost system is used with-out heating the air is circulated by thefan at room temperature.

Intensive bake FThis method combines "Fan Heat" withheat from the lower heating element,and is particularly useful for dishes thatrequire a moist topping and crisp baselike pizza and quiche lorraine.

Fan grill IThe hot air from the grill is distributedover the food by the fan on the rear wallof the oven. This enables a lower tem-perature to be selected than for conven-tional grilling.

Grill 1 ,The inner part of the upper heating ele-ment acts as the grill. This will glow redfor a few minutes after being switchedon, and it is then ready for use. Use theGrill 1 setting for small quantities.

Grill 2 JThe entire upper heating element actsas the grill.

This method is particularly good for grill-ing large quantities of food using thegrill pan to its full extent.

Oven - useControlsThe oven controls consist of the ovenfunction selector and pushbuttons.

Function selector

(depending on the model)

With this control you select the ovenfunction required.

The selector can be turned clockwiseor anti-clockwise.

Push buttons

With the push buttons you can:

– change the oven temperature.

– change the core temperature, if thecore temperature (roast) probe isused (depending on model).

– activate the minute minder.

Each push button has a matching sym-bol in the oven display.

All temperature and time entries or alter-ations to temperature and time aremade via the "+" or "–" buttons.

Temperatures / times can be entered instages (short pushes on the button)and quickly (hold button down).

In this way the following alterations canbe made– oven temperature in 5°C stages– core temperature in 1°C stages– minute minder in 1 min. stages.

If one of the buttons (p,e, l) ispressed the indicator light betweenthe "+" and "–" buttons lights up.

While this light is on, times / tempera-tures can be entered or altered.

Each time the "+/–" button or one of theother buttons is pressed this givesmore time for data input.

When the indicator light goes out, thedata input or alteration has been regis-tered.

Selecting an oven settingWith the oven function selector the fol-lowing settings can be chosen:

– Light H Turns on the oven light inde-pendently.H 248: All oven functions are dis-played as soon as the function selec-tor is switched to "light H".

– Fan Heat DFor baking or roasting on several le-vels at the same time.

– Top heat CFor browning dishes, finishingdishes with a cheese topping.

– Conventional ATop and bottom heat together, forbaking / roasting traditional recipes,for soufflés.

– Bottom heat BUse this setting towards the end ofbaking, to brown the base of a cake.

– Auto Roast EInitial high temperature to seal meatfollowed by normal roasting tempera-ture.Not suitable for baking, except forbaking freshly prepared wholemealor rye doughs, (not packet mixes).

– Defrost GFor gentle defrosting of deep frozenfoods.

– Intensive Bake FFor recipes which require a moisttopping, and a crisp base, e.g.pizzas and quiche lorraine, Germanstyle open fruit cakes and cheese-cake.Not suitable for roasting or shallowbaking, (the base will brown toomuch).

– Fan Grill IIdeal for grilling thicker items suchas stuffed meat, kebabs and piecesof poultry etc. Grilling takes placewith the oven door closed.

– Grill 1 ,For grilling flat items, small quan-tities, and for browning small rounddishes. Grilling takes place with theoven door closed.

– Grill 2 JFor grilling flat items, large quan-tities, and for browning larger ovaldishes. Grilling takes place with theoven door closed.

Using the ovenPlace food to be cooked in the oven.

Turn oven function selector to the re-quired function.

The following will light up– recommended temperature in the

oven display,– the indicator light for the "+/–" button.

Now alter the temperature if the recom-mended temperature differs from thatgiven in the recipe.

Press the " p" button.

Using the "+/–" button enter thedesired temperature.

The oven will start to heat up as soon asthe indicator light for the "+/–" button goes out.

Heating is automatically interrupted ifthe oven door is opened. The doorcontact switch trips and switches theheating systems off automatically.When "Fan Heat" is being used, the fanis also switched off.

You can also delay the start of cookingprocesses; see "Programming cookingtime".

Pre-heating the ovenThe oven usually only needs to be pre-heated in the following cases:

With "Fan Heat D":– for baking bread made with dark

flour,– when roasting meat.

With "Conventional heat A":– for baking biscuits and cakes with a

short cooking time, (up to approx.30 minutes),

– for baking some doughs,– when baking bread made with dark

flour,– for roast meat.

To pre-heat

Turn the oven function selector to therequired function.

Select the required temperature.

When the required temperature hasbeen reached: Put the food to beroasted or baked into the oven.

Interrupting the process /switching off the oven

Turn the oven function selector to "0"

The oven is switched off: all processes / symbols are cancelled.

Exceptions:– If the roast probe is being used, the

symbol"e" is lit.– If a minute minder time has been

entered, the "l" symbol is lit and thedisplay shows the time countingdown.

Rapid heat-upWith the "Fan Heat D", "Auto RoastE"and "Conventional A" heating systems,"rapid heat-up" is switched on automati-cally if the temperature required is– at least 140°C with "Fan Heat D"

and "Auto Roast E".– at least 150°C with "Conventional A".

The rotating "C" beside the requiredtemperature shows that "rapid heat-up"is switched on.

During the heat-up phase, the "FanHeat" heating element and the fan aswell as the "Top Heat" heating elementcome on simultaneously to heat up theoven as rapidly as possible. This savesenergy.

As soon as the required temperature isreached, the extra heating element isswitched off.Once the required temperature isreached, the extra heating elementdoes not switch on again even whenthe temperature is later increased.

Exception: if the temperature is in-creased before the required tempera-ture is reached, "rapid heat-up" remainsswitched on.

To switch off "rapid heat-up"

For some dishes it may be desirable toswitch off "rapid heat-up" (biscuits,small cakes).

Select the oven system and tempera-ture for the cooking process.

As soon as the actual temperature ap-pears in the display, "rapid heat-up"can be switched off.

Press the "–" button and hold untilthe "C" in the display stops rotating.

"Rapid heat-up" is now switched off forthis particular cooking process.

After the oven function selector hasbeen turned to "0" at the end of the pro-gramme, "Rapid heat-up" will be avail-able for the next programme.

In addition to this, you can also use aprogrammable function for the "rapidheat-up" feature for the three oven sys-tems to normally be switched off, (seesection on "Altering oven settings, Pro-grammable function 06").

Energy-save functionIf you are programming a cooking pro-cess using the timer, or if you are cook-ing with the roast probe, the residualheat is automatically used to save en-ergy.

Shortly before the end of the cookingtime the oven heating switches off.

The letters "EC" in the display field indi-cate that the energy-save function is inoperation.

The residual heat in the oven is suffi-cient to complete the cooking process.

The cooling fan continues to run, asdoes the hot air fan if a "fan" settinghad been chosen.

Oven lightingWhen the oven is in operation the ovenlighting goes out approx. 15 secondsafter pressing the last button, to saveelectricity.

If you wish to switch the lightingback on for a short time, press oneof the buttons.

The oven lighting goes on automaticallywhen an oven function has been se-lected and the oven door is opened.

If preferred, you can set the oven light-ing to come on automatically as soonas an oven function has been selected,(see the Section on Programmablefunctions).

Night dimmingBetween the hours of 22:00 and 6:00the lighting in the clock / timer displayis dimmed automatically to give a slightenergy saving.

Setting the minute minderThe minute minder can be used to timeany activity in the kitchen, e.g. boilingeggs.

The short time can be entered inde-pendently of another entered process.

To enter / to change the short time

(1 min. - 23 hrs. 59 mins.)

Press the "l" button.

Enter the required time in hours andminutes with the "+" button.

When the "+/–" button indicator light goesout, the time set starts counting down inminutes.

If the oven is being used at the sametime, the minute minder time periodonly shows for a short time. Then theoven or probe core temperature showsagain in the display. The "l" symbolcontinues to be visible as a reminderthat the minute minder is working.

At the end of the short time:

– an audible tone sounds for approx.5 seconds.

– At the same time the "l" symbolflashes for approx. 1 minute.

The audible tone and the flashing sym-bol can be cancelled at any time bypressing the "l" button.

To cancel the minute minder

Press the "l" button.

Use the "–" button to set the shorttime to "0:00".

Altering oven settingsProgrammable functionsAdditional functions can be pro-grammed.

Please consult the Chart for the differ-ent possibilities.

To switch a programmable function onor off:

Proceed as follows:

Turn the oven function selector to "0".

Open the oven door fully.

Turn the oven function selector to the"Light H" position.

Press the " p" button.

"01:0" or the most recently altered func-tion appears in the oven display.

Use the "+/–" button to select the pro-grammable function required, (seechart).

Press the "l" button.

The programmable function is switchedon or off.

The following appears after the colon:– 1 when the function is switched on,– 0 when the function is switched off.

Turn the oven function switch to the "0" position.

The setting is stored in memory.

You may alter as many settings as youwish, as long as the oven functionselector has not been turned to the"0" position.

01:0* The oven function and temperature canbe changed at any time.

01:1 The locking function for the oven is acti-vated: after oven function and tempe-rature have been chosen, and the indi-cator light in the "+/–" button has goneout, the oven function set can no longerbe altered. The target temperature canonly be lowered.

Oven function, target temperature, andany automatic cooking time program-ming can only be altered after the ovenfunction has been turned back to the"Light H" or "0" position.

02:0* The recommended temperaturesdisplayed match those in the OperatingInstructions.

02:1 All recommended temperatures areincreased by 10°C (approx. 20°F). Thisalteration is advisable if you generallywork with higher temperatures.

03:0* The oven lighting goes on, as soon as anoven function has been selected.

03:1 The oven lighting goes on as soon as theoven door is opened, even when thefunction selector is set at "0". The ovenlighting comes on automatically, e.g. forcleaning.

04:0* The temperature is displayed in °C. Theclock/timer has a 24-hour display.

04:1 The temperature is displayed in °F. Theclock/timer has a 12-hour display.

05:0* To save energy, the oven light switchesoff after approx.15 seconds when theoven is in operation. It can be switchedback on again for a short time if requiredby pushing any button.

05:1 The oven lighting stays on for the wholetime when the oven is in operation.

06:0* Rapid heat-up is on; during the heat-upphase of the "Fan Heat D", "AutoRoast E" and "Conventional A" heatingsystems, the Fan Heat heating elementand the fan as well as the Top Heatheating element are switched on at thesame time to heat the appliance asrapidly as possible. This saves energy.

06:1 "Rapid heat-up" is off.

07:0* The time of day originally enteredappears in the display.

07:1 The time is advanced by 1 hr (useful whenchanging from summer to winter time andvice versa).

08:0* The time of day originally enteredappears in the display.

08:1 The time is put back by 1 hr (useful whenchanging from summer to winter timeand vice versa).

AccessoriesBaking tray, roasting / grill panand rackThe baking tray, roasting /grill pan andrack are fitted with non-tip safety not-ches which prevent them being pulledright out when they only need to be par-tially pulled out.

When pushing the tray, pan andrack back in, always ensure that thesafety notches are at the rear of theoven. (See illustration)

The tray, pan and rack can then onlybe taken out of the oven by raisingthem upwards and then pulling out.

Roasting filterWhen roasting on the rack , in an openpot or using "Fan Heat D" and "AutoRoast E" make sure that you fit theroasting filter in front of the fan opening.

The droplets of fat caught up in thecirculating air are deposited on theroasting filter. This helps to keep theoven and the area behind the interiorback panel cleaner.

Handle(depending on model)

To take the baking trays or the roast-ing / grill pan out of the oven, or to putthem into it.

Anti-splash tray(depending on model)

To be placed in the grill pan when grill-ing.The juices from the food being grilledare gathered under the anti-splash tray,rather than being dried out, and theycan then be used in sauces etc.

Telescopic carriage(depending on model)

When pushing the baking trays, grillpan or rack into the oven, makesure that the telescopic carriage ispushed completely in.

If you wish to use only the lowest run-ner level for cooking, the side rails canbe taken out.

This has the advantage of:– making more space available inside

the oven, for larger roasting tins.– keeping the side rails clean.

CatalysorDepending on model your appliancemay be fitted with a catalysor.

The catalysor is built in to the oven’scooling system.

The catalysor filters fatty vapours andreduces food smells.

Timer - useFunctions

The timer can:

– show the time of day,

– switch the oven (and separately,where applicable, the hob front cook-ing zones) off, or on and off automati-cally.

Push buttons

With the push buttons you can:

– enter the Time of day.

– enter the start of a cooking process.

– enter the duration of a cooking pro-cess.

– enter the end of a cooking process.

A corresponding symbol for each pushbutton appears in the display when ap-propriate.

The Symbol lights up when an ovenfunction has been selected, (or a hobzone control switched on), and the rele-vant button pressed in.

Changes to the start, duration or end ofcooking time, or time of day are ef-fected in 1 minute steps.

While this light is still on, times can beentered or altered.

Each time the "+" or "–" button or one ofthe other buttons is pressed, this givesmore time for data input.

When the indicator light goes out thedata input or alteration has been regis-tered.

Symbols that appear in the timer dis-play field:

– the symbols for the oven time en-tered, when the oven is being pro-grammed.

– the relevant zone symbol when thehob is being programmed:

To enter the time of day(24 hour display)

When the appliance is first connectedto the power supply, or after a powercut "12:00" and the symbols "f" and")" flash in the display.

Press the buttons "f" and ")" atthe same time.

The following light up:– "12:00" in the display – the indicator light for the "+/–" button.

While the indicator light for the "+/–" button is still on, enter the timein hours and minutes using the "+" or"–" button.

When the indicator light for the "+/–" but-ton goes out, the time of day has beenset and the and the display will changeat one-minute intervals. The colonflashes.

If a process has been pre-pro-grammed, the time of day can notbe altered or cancelled.

The programmable functions 07 and 08can be used to adjust the time fromwinter to summer time and vice versa(see section on "Altering oven settings").

To cancel the time of day display

The time of day display can beswitched off to save energy.

Press the buttons "f" and ")"twice in succession.

The time of day continues to run un-seen.

If a process has been pre-pro-grammed, the time of day displaycan not be switched off.

To bring back the visible time display

Press buttons "f" and ")" together once.

Programming cooking timeWith the timer it is possible for the ovenand both the front hob cooking zonesto be switched off automatically, or setto come on at a later time and then alsobe switched off.

The oven, the left and right front hobcooking zones can be programmed in-dependently of each other.

Programming cooking time in theoven

When a cooking process is pre-se-lected, the setting chosen and the sym-bol " p" are displayed, as well as thetime of day and the symbols for thetime entered. (f, g, )).

During a process the temperature isshown in the oven display. The time ofday continues to be shown.

Shortly before the end of cookingtime the oven heating switches off auto-matically.

The Energy-save function (as de-scribed under "Ovens - Use") comesinto action."EC" now appears in the oven displayinstead of the actual oven temperature.

The oven temperature will switch onagain if:– the oven temperature is altered.– the cooking time is lengthened signi-

ficantly.

At the end of cooking time

– an audible tone sounds for approx.5 seconds,

– and at the same time the ")" sym-bol flashes.

Both the audible tone and the visualdisplay can be cancelled by:

– Pressing the ")" button.If the food is not sufficiently cookedto your taste, a further cooking timecan be entered.

– Turning the oven function selector to"0".

If the audible tone is not switched off itwill continue to sound at 5 minute inter-vals as a reminder that cooking has fin-ished. This reminder continues for upto an hour.

Programming hob zone cookingtimes

Please note it is not possible to usethis programme for hobs whichhave the KSE 200 control unit.

A symbol in the display shows whichhob zone is being programmed.

* = front left zone# = front right zonet = both front zones

Make sure the correct symbol is show-ing in the display before programmingin times.

When a cooking process has beenpre-selected the hob zone symbolflashes, and the time of day is dis-played. The hob control light goes out.

When the process starts running, thesymbol for the chosen hob zone lightsup.

At the end of cooking time

– the hob switches off automatically,– an audible tone sounds for approx.

5 seconds.– The symbol for the selected hob

zone and the symbol ")" flash. Thesymbol ")" does not flash when acooking end time is entered for theoven.

Both the audible tone and the visualdisplay can be cancelled by:

– Pressing the ")" button.To use the oven again, the hob zoneselector switch must first of all beturned to "0".

– Turning the hob zone selector switchto "0".

If the audible tone is not switched off,as described earlier, it will repeat at5 minute intervals as a reminder thatthe end time has been reached. Thisreminder continues for up to an hour.

To end a cooking time auto-matically

Turn the oven function selector or thehob zone control to the required set-ting.

Heating up begins.

Press the "g" button.

The heating is switched off, and "0:00"appears in the display field.

With the "+" button enter the requiredcooking time in hours:minutes.(up to 23 hours 59 mins).

The cooking process starts as soon asthe indicator light on the "+/–" buttongoes out. The end of cooking time is automati-cally calculated from the time entered.

To switch a cooking processon and off automaticallyThere are several options for delayingthe start of a cooking process.

Either the beginning or the end of thecooking process can be postponed.

To enter duration and end

Turn the oven function selector or thehob zone control to the required set-ting.

First enter the cooking time:

Press the "g" button.

"0:00" appears in the display field.

With the "+" button enter the requiredcooking time in hours:minutes.(up to 23 hours 59 mins).

Now postpone the end of cookingtime:

Press button ")".

The time of day plus the entered cook-ing time appear in the display.

Postpone the end of cooking timewith the "+" button.

First the time of day will appear.

Enter the start and the duration

Turn the oven function selector or thehob zone control to the required set-ting.

First enter start of cooking time:

Press the "g" button.

"0:00" appears in the display field.

Use the "+" button to postpone thestart of cooking.

First the time of day appears.

Now enter the cooking time:

Press the "g" button.

"0:00" appears in the display field.

With the "+" button enter the requiredcooking time in hours:minutes.

If only a start of cooking time is pro-grammed, the oven / hob zone will startstraight away.Exception: When cooking with the roastprobe the oven does not start straightaway.

Please note the following

In addition to the options given, youcan also enter the beginning and end,or just the end, using the appropriatebuttons.

Do not pre-programme with too long adelay. Cake mixtures will dry out andthe raising agent will work less effec-tively.

Checking, changing andcancelling times enteredIt is possible at any time to call up thetimes entered. The corresponding but-ton for the time to be checked orchanged has to be pressed.

If times are programmed for severalprocesses, each process can be seenby pressing briefly more than once onthe relevant button.

The number of times to press the but-ton depends on the number of pro-gramme steps entered:

Press once and the time entered for theoven appears.

Press twice and the time entered forthe front left hob zone appears. This isindicated by the "*" symbol.

Press 3 times and the time entered forthe front right hob zone appears. Thisis indicated by the symbol "#".

To check

Press the button for the time to bechecked.

"f"The start time of the cooking process isdisplayed. This goes out as soon asthe process begins.

"g"The display shows the duration ofcooking time, or the time left if theprogramme has started.

")"The end of the cooking process is dis-played.

To change

Press the corresponding button.

The indicator light in the "+/–" buttoncomes on.

Use the "+/–" button to enter the re-quired time.

When the indicator light in the centre ofthe "+/–" button goes out, the newly se-lected time is registered. The time ofday appears in the display.

Please note the following:

If a button is pressed, where the timewas not entered, but calculated auto-matically by the system, the indicatorlight in the centre of the "+/–" buttondoes not come on. This time cannot be altered.

To cancel times entered

To cancel, press the appropriate buttonand use the "–" button to set the time to"0:00".

If the cooking time is cancelled, thisautomatically cancels the start / endtime, and vice versa.

To cancel programmedprocessesTurn the oven function selector or thehob zone control(s) to "0".

If there is a power cut all programmesentered will be deleted.

BakingThe following settings are recom-mended for baking:

– Fan Heat D– Intensive Bake F– Conventional A

Baking tinsFor the best baking results make surethat you choose baking tins or dishesof a material suitable for the particularheating system.

– "Fan Heat D", "Intensive baking F"Most types of heat-resistant tins ordishes are suitable, including thin-walled and bright, non-reflective met-al moulds.

– "Conventional A"The following baking tins give anevenly browned result:Dark metal or enamel tins with a mattfinish are preferable. Heat resistantglass or thermoplastic dishes can beused.Avoid thin-walled and bright, non-re-flective metal moulds. These will give uneven browning re-sults.

Fan Heat DSeveral levels can be used at the sametime for baking. The recommended po-sitions are:

1 tray = 1st runner from the bottom2 trays = 1st and 3rd runners

from the bottom3 trays = 1st, 2nd and 5th runners

from the bottom

When baking moist biscuits, cakesor bread, do not bake on more thantwo levels.

Remember to remove the roasting(grease) filter from in front of the fanopening. Otherwise the baking timewill be longer.

With the "Fan D" setting lower bakingtemperatures are needed than with the"Conventional A" setting. See the bak-ing charts.

Intensive baking F

Remember to remove the roasting(grease) filter from in front of the fanopening. Otherwise the baking timewill be longer.

This method of heating is particularlyuseful for:– dishes that require a moist topping

and crisp base, such as pizzas andquiche lorraine, or where the basehas not been pre-baked.

Put the cake in on the 1st runner fromthe bottom. If the base is overcooked,use a higher level runner next time.

Conventional A

Avoid thin-walled and bright, non-re-flective metal moulds. These willgive uneven browning results.

Pre-heat the oven only for:– cakes / biscuits with a very short bak-

ing time (up to approx. 30 minutes), – victoria sponge and similar mixtures,– bread made with dark flour.

Select runner height 1 or 2.

General notes

Place oblong tins in the oven as shownin the illustration.

Deep-frozen products such as pizzasshould be placed on baking paper onthe rack.

RoastingWe recommend the following settingsfor roasting in the oven:

Auto Roast:When roasting on the rack or in anopen dish, always remember to fitthe roasting filter in front of the fanin the back of the oven before start-ing.

We recommend roasting in a coveredpot L:

– This ensures that sufficient stock re-mains for making gravy.

– The oven stays cleaner, too.

The following containers are suitable: Roasting tins, heat-resistant glass,roasting foil, earthenware.

Make sure that the pot and lid haveheat-resistant handles.

Place the covered pot on the rack intothe cold oven.Exception: Pre-heat the oven to the tem-perature recommended in the recipewhen cooking roast beef.

Use shelf position 1 for roasting.Exception: With "Conventional A" forroasting poultry up to a weight of 1 kg,roast beef, fillet or fish use shelf posi-tion 2.

When using "Auto Roast E" a tem-perature of approx. 40°C lower can beused for roasting than with the "Conven-tional A" setting.

The bigger the quantity to be roasted,the lower the temperature. When roasting more than 3 kg select atemperature about 10°C lower than theone given in the "Roasting" chart. The roasting process will take a littlelonger, but the meat will be cookedevenly and the exterior will becomecrisp.

For roasting directly on the rack Kthe temperature needs to be about20°C lower than for roasting in acovered pot L.

For roasting on the rack always slide inthe rack and the roasting tin together.

The roasting time will depend on thetype of meat, the size and thickness ofthe cut.

Calculating roasting time:

The traditional British method is to allow15 to 20 minutes to the lb, according totype of meat, plus approx. 20 minutes,adjusting length of time as roasting pro-ceeds, to obtain the required result.

Alternatively, multiply the height of thejoint by the time per cm for the type ofmeat, as in the chart.

Browning only occurs towards the endof the roasting time. Remove the lidabout halfway through the roasting timeif a more intensive browning effect isdesired.

After the roasting process is finished take the roast out of the oven, wrap inaluminium foil and leave to stand forabout 10 minutes.This helps retain juices when the meatis carved.

Roasting in a covered pot L

Season the meat and place in the pot.Add some knobs of butter or margarineor a little oil or cooking fat. Add about1/8 litre of water when roasting a biglean joint of meat (2-3 kg) or roastingpoultry with a high fat content.

Roasting on the rack K

Place a little water in the tray. Add alittle fat or oil to very lean meat or placea few strips of bacon on the top. Do notadd too much liquid to the tray duringcooking as this will hinder the browningprocess.

Roasting poultry

For a crisp finish, baste the poultry tenminutes before the end of cooking timewith slightly salted water.

Deep frozen meat should be defrostedfirst.

Roasting with the Roast ProbeDepending on model a roast probe(core temperature probe) may be sup-plied.

Using the roast probe enables theroasting process to be monitored sim-ply and reliably.

The tip of the probe measures the coretemperature at the centre of the meatcontinuously.

When the pre-selected core tempera-ture is reached, the oven heating isautomatically switched off.

The roast probe can be used with thefollowing functions:– Auto Roast E– Conventional A– Fan Heat D– Fan Grill I

Using the roast probe for best effect:

Prepare the meat in the usual man-ner, and put it into the oven, (in a potor on the rack).

Roasting bags or aluminium foil mayalso be used, but only when left openat the ends. Insert the probe throughthe foil or bag.

Insert the probe into the middle ofthe meat.

The tip of the probe must reach the cen-tral area of the meat.

When roasting poultry the best place toinsert the probe is the thickest part be-tween thigh and body.

Ensure that it does not touch a bone,and that it is not inserted into a fattypiece of meat. If fat or bone come intocontact with the probe, this can lead tothe oven being switched off too early.

When roasting with the probe it is agood idea to take the frame off the pull-out carriage. The telescopic carriagecan then be pulled right out.

Insert the plug of the roast probe intothe socket until you feel it engage.

Turn the function selector to the re-quired oven function.

The following light up:– the recommended oven tempera-

ture in the oven display,– the indicator light for the "+/–" button.

The recommended oven temperaturecan be altered if required with the "+/–" button.

Next, a food core temperature of60°C appears in the oven display, andthe indicator light for the "+/–" button ison.

If necessary this food core tempera-ture can be altered with the "+/–" but-ton according to the type of food beingcooked, (see "Oven roasting chart" forsuitable choice of temperatures) andcan be altered within a range of 20°Cto 99°C.

In order to do this:

Press the "e" button.

Enter the desired temperature usingthe "+" or "–" buttons.

When the light in the "+/–" button goes out

– the oven heating switches on.

– the actual core temperature ap-pears in the oven display. N.B. Thelowest temperature that can be dis-played is 20°C, so this will also beshown until the roast probe registers20°C.

Time left display

After a certain time the estimated resid-ual time (i.e. the time left to run), ap-pears in the oven display. The actualcore temperature is no longer visibleand cannot be called up.

The residual time is calculated from theoven temperature selected, the re-quired core temperature and the pat-tern of the increasing core temperature.

The residual time figure first shown isan estimate. As the cooking processcontinues the figure is continuously re-vised, and a more accurate revised fig-ure shown.

If, when the residual time is displayed:– the oven or core temperature is al-

tered,– or a different oven function is chosen,this will cancel all the residual time infor-mation, and the actual temperature willreappear.

If the oven door is held open for sometime, the residual time will be recalcu-lated.

Cooking time is completed automati-cally.

Shortly before the end of cooking timethe oven heating switches off.

The Energy-save function (as de-scribed under "Oven - use") comes intoaction. The time left continues to beshown in the display. If the " p" button ispressed, "EC" appears.

If the oven temperature is altered or thecore temperature increased, the ovenheating will switch on again.

End of cooking time

As soon as the chosen core tempera-ture has been reached– an audible tone sounds for approx.

5 seconds, and– the "e" symbol flashes.

If the audible tone is not cancelledearly, it will continue to sound every5 minutes for an hour as a reminderthat the process has finished.

The audible tone can be cancelled by:

– pressing the "e" button.If the food is not sufficiently cooked,a new core temperature can be en-tered.

– turning the oven function selector to"0".Any temperatures entered will alsobe cancelled.

Please note:

The timer can be used to delay thestart of the cooking process.

When finished, cover the meat withaluminium foil and allow to stand forapprox. 10 minutes. During this timethe core temperature rises another 5 – 10°C.

If the temperature probe is left in thefood at the end of the cooking process,the oven display will show the core tem-perature first rising and then sinking.

Insert the probe in a different place andstart again:– if the cut of meat was too large (3 kg

or more) for the probe to be insertedright to the centre.

– if the meat is not sufficiently roastedwhen the set temperature is reached.

The time taken to roast meat by tem-perature using the probe is similar tothat when cooking by time.

DefrostingWe recommend defrosting at room tem-perature, i.e. without selecting an oventemperature. However, an oven temperature of up to50°C can be selected.

– Where possible remove the packa-ging and put the food to be de-frosted on a baking tray or into adish.

– All meat and poultry should be fullydefrosted before cooking. Do notuse the liquids from defrosting.

– When defrosting poultry put it on therack, one level higher than a tray putin to catch the defrosted liquid, sothat the meat is not lying in this liquid.

It is particularly important to ob-serve food hygiene rules when de-frosting poultry. Do not use the liq-uid from the defrosted poultry. Pourit away, and wash the tray, the sinkand your hands.

N.B. Put the tray back in the oven ifroasting on the rack.

– Fish does not need to be fully de-frosted before cooking. Defrost sothat the surface is sufficiently soft totake herbs and seasoning.

Do not refreeze food once it hasthawed.

The time needed for defrosting de-pends on the type and weight of thefood, and at what temperature it wasdeep frozen.

GrillingPre-heat the grill for approx.5 minutes with the oven door shut.

Grilling with the oven door shutsaves energy and minimizes cook-ing smells.

The oven has three grill settings:

Grill 1 ,

For grilling small quantities of thin cutsand for browning small dishes of food.The inner part of the grill element isswitched on and glows red.

Grill 2 J

For grilling large quantities of thin cutsand for browning food in large shapeddishes. The whole of the grill element isswitched on. The inner part glows red.The outer part stays darker than theinner part but creates sufficient radiantheat for grilling.

Fan Grill I

Always put the roasting filter in frontof the fan grille in the back of theoven when using this setting.

The roast probe cannot be used atthe same time as the rotisserie. Thecable would wind round the rotis-serie and be damaged.

Preparing food for grillingClean, wipe and season. Do not saltslices of meat beforehand as this de-tracts from the taste.

Add a little oil if necessary. Other fatsquickly become black or cause thefood to smoke. A little butter can beadded to chicken if desired.

Clean flat fish and slices of fish in thenormal way. To enhance the taste adda little salt or squeeze a little lemonjuice over the fish.

Grilling on the rack

Assemble the grill pan, anti-splashtray (if available) and rack as shown.

Place the food on the rack.

Select the method of grilling.

Insert the grill pan at the appropriatelevel for the height of the food to begrilled:

thin cuts = level 3 or 4

thicker cuts = level 1 or 2

It is best to grill food of a similar thick-ness at the same time so that the grill-ing time for each item does not varytoo greatly.

Most items should be turned half waythrough cooking.

The spit fits into the motor slot at theback of the oven.

Cleaning and careAppliance front and controlpanelWipe down the appliance front, the con-trol panel and, on the H 248, the dec-orative trims with a mild detergent or asolution of warm water with a little wash-ing up liquid. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Glass front

Do not use a scouring agent, as thiswould scratch the glass front.

For ovens with a white finish we recom-mend after each use wiping:– the oven door handle and– the control panelwith a damp cloth and some washingup liquid. This will avoid spillagesbeing burnt on and becoming im-possible to remove.

Stainless steel front

Never use cleaners containingsand, soda or scouring agents,These will leave scratches.

Use an appropriate non-scouring stain-less steel cleaner. Apply with an evenpressure. Wipe over with a damp clothand rub dry with a soft cloth.

Accessories

Roast probe, telescopic frame (iffitted)

Wipe with a damp cloth.

Do not put the roast probe or thebaking carriage telescopic runnersinto water, and do not put them inthe dishwasher.

Cleaning and careOven interiorThe oven interior surfaces have beendesigned to make cleaning easier.

The oven cavity and door interior arefinished in "Clean-Enamel". The rearpanel which protects the fan is moresubject to oil and fat splashes and hasa catalytic enamel coating.

With some models, side panels withcatalytic coating are fitted and the re-movable guard plate above the grillhas a catalytic coating. With this ar-rangement most of the interior "Clean-Enamel" is protected, except for thefloor and the door, which should becleaned after each use.

"Clean-Enamel"

This is a specially hardened enamelwith an extremely smooth surface.

Most baking and roasting residues canbe easily removed using a spongecloth, washing up liquid and hot water.

If something bakes on harder, it can beloosened with a shielded bladescraper, and cleaned off with a spongeand a suitable proprietary non-abrasivecream cleaner. It is easier to removesplashes of fruit or cake mixture fromthe oven and racks while they are stillwarm.

Fruit juice may cause lasting discolora-tion.

Dull patches may remain permanentlyin the oven tray after roasting or grilling.

If an oven spray is used on the"Clean-Enamel", follow the manufac-turer’s instructions carefully.

Important: Oven spray must notcome into contact with catalytic ena-mel. It can damage the enamel.

Catalytic Enamel

Because circulating air in the oven de-posits oil and fat splashes predomi-nantly on the rear wall, this is coated incatalytic enamel.

With some models, side panels withcatalytic coating are also fitted, and theremovable guard plate above the grillhas a catalytic coating.

When this catalytic enamel is heated totemperatures above 200°C, oil andgrease deposits are removed, exceptfor deposits of spices, syrups and simi-lar substances. The higher the tempera-ture the more effective the process.

Do not use an oven spray on thecatalytic enamel. Do not wash thepanels in a dishwasher. Any mech-anical handling would damage thecatalytic enamel.

Do not wait too long between cleaningsessions as further baking and roastingwill cause oil and grease deposits toburn on even harder.

Cleaning each type of enamel

Allow the oven to cool down beforecleaning. Danger of burning.

Clean the oven floor ("Clean-Ena-mel) after each use.The oven should also be cleanedregularly, preferably after each use.Waiting too long will make cleaningvery difficult and in extreme casesnot very effective.

Never use hard brushes, scouringcloths, steel wool, knives or otherabrasive materials. The enamelwould be damaged.

Remove the accessories and the run-ners from the oven. (See followingpages for release).

Clean the "Clean-Enamel" surfaces.A mild proprietary cleaner, withoutsand or scouring agents, may beused.

Normally the catalytic liners can beleft in place and wiped over. Use asolution of warm water and a littlewashing up liquid and a soft brush toclean catalytic surfaces.The catalytic liners should rarelyneed to be removed. See followingpages for procedure.

Do not use oven spray or abrasivecleaning agents on the catalytic sur-faces. Do not wash the panels in adishwasher. Any mechanical hand-ling would damage the catalytic en-amel.

In addition, heating the oven to a hightemperature will help remove soiling onthe catalytic surfaces which has beencaused by grease and oil splashes.

Turn the oven function selector to"Fan heat D".

Turn the temperature selector to thehighest setting.

Let the oven operate for about onehour. The length of time will depend onthe degree of soiling. It is a good ideato set the finish time for the processusing the timer. This way you will not for-get to switch the oven off at the end.

Every time the oven is used at high tem-peratures any remaining soiling willgradually disappear.

Should the catalytic coating on theback panel or any other catalyticpanels fitted become ineffectivethrough improper use or heavy soil-ing, for example, a replacement canbe obtained from your Miele dealeror Miele Spare Parts dept.

Cleaning and careTo make cleaning easier– remove the oven door,– take out the telescopic carriage or

the runners,– take out the back panel– lower the Top Heat heating element.

To remove the oven door

Please note : the oven door is quiteheavy. It should be gripped firmly atthe sides when being removed or re-fitted.

Open the door fully.

Before the door can be removed,the door hinges need to be lockedso that they do not damage thedoor when it is taken out.

Flip down the locking clamps oneach door hinge. This locks thehinges.

Lift up the door until the hingesdisengage. Remove the door.

To re-fit the oven door

Hold the door as shown above andcarefully put the locked hinges intothe guide holes until they engage. Open the door fully.

Still supporting the door, flip the lock-ing clamps up.

It is essential that the lockingclamps are flipped up when thedoor is re-fitted after cleaning.Otherwise on closing the door, thehinges could work loose from theguide holes and this could result indamage to the door.

Loosen the screws in the back paneland take it out.

The oven must not be used withoutthe back panel fitted. This couldlead to injuries.

Select the "Light H" setting.

The oven heating elements must beswitched off, to avoid the danger ofburning. Wait until the grill element hascooled down enough to touch toavoid being burnt.

The halogen lights are faulty. Changeas follows:

Turn off the electricity supply to theoven. Switch off at the isolator, orwithdraw the mains fuse.

There is a slide flap in each side trim tothe oven.

Slide the relevant flap upwards.

Pull out the metal strip.

Pull out the halogen lamp:12 V, 20 W, heat resistant up to 300°C, G4socket, Osram, Type 64428.

Fit the bulb and reassemble in thereverse order, carefully ensuring allparts are in place.

. . . no noise is heard when the ovendoor is opened during operation.

This is not a fault. If the door is opened during operation,the door contact switch causes theoven heating, and the fan if on "Fan"setting, to be switched off.

. . . a noise can be heard after bak-ing, roasting or grilling.

This is not a fault.The cooling fan continues to run for ashort time after the oven has beenswitched off to prevent any humiditybuilding up in the oven, on the controlpanel or in the oven housing unit. Whenthe temperature has fallen sufficientlythe fan switches off automatically.The temperature will fall faster when theoven door is opened partially or fully.

. . . the cakes and biscuits are notcooked after following the timesgiven in the chart.

Check whether,

the correct temperature was set.

there has been a change to therecipe. The addition of more liquid ormore eggs makes a moister mixwhich would need longer to cook.

the roasting filter had been left inplace in front of the fan when cook-ing with "Fan heat D" or "IntensiveBake F" or was in place for "AutoRoast E". In this case baking timesmight be lengthened by 10 to 15minutes.

. . . The browning effect is uneven.

There will always be a slight uneven-ness. Product information sheets give apercentage result for standard brown-ing tests. These refer to results for onetray.

If the item being baked is browningvery unevenly, check:

– when baking with "Fan Heat D":

whether the temperature was set toohigh,

whether the roasting filter was inplace.

– when baking with the "Conventionalsetting A":

the colour and composition of thebaking tins being used. Light col-oured, shiny, or thin walled tins areless suitable.

. . . spots like rust appear on the inte-rior catalytic walls.

When roasting on the rack, the circulat-ing air sometimes picks up spices,which are then deposited on the oveninterior walls. Such residues are notremoved by catalytic cleaning, they arebest removed while fresh with a mildwashing up liquid and a soft brush.

. . . The display light does not comeon when a hob control is switchedon (depending on the model).

The lamp needs changing.The lamp must be changed by Mielecustomer service.

. . . "F" and a number appear in theoven display field.

This combination indicates a fault

When "F3" appears the core tem-perature (roast) probe has a fault. Remove the probe from its socketand the message will disappear.

When "F6" appears the oven hasautomatically switched itself off dur-ing use. This is a safety feature toprotect the oven if it has been opera-ting for an exceedingly long period.The timing is different depending onthe oven setting selected.

The oven can be used again immedi-ately by simply turning the oven func-tion selector to "0" and then enteringthe process again.

– If "F9" appears in the display, thismay mean that the maximum tem-perature of the appliance has beenexceeded.

The appliance automatically switches itself off temporarily. As soon as thetemperature has fallen to an accept-able level the fault message disap-pears. The appliance switches itselfon again automatically.

If this fault message occurs repeated-ly, please inform the Service dept.Please quote the fault message.

– If any other fault message appearsin the display, this will need a servicevisit. Please quote the fault message.

Catalysor

A catalysor can be built into the coolingsystem of the cooker or oven to filterfatty vapours and reduce food smells.

Radio controlled clock
