“We are too young to notice the change of our heart; We are too old to notice the change of our body.” One day a human found her body has already grown into a female, but her heart isn’t following her body’s growth. Like all other humans in their 20s, she is excited by love, and then frustrated by the imperfect love. She tries very hard to prove her abilities but is disappointed by the reality. “If there is any solution to the confusion of life, it shall be conversation, with our inner self, and our body.” Photography By Mikki Ho Title: Sleep Beauty Camera: Rolleicord Film: Ilford HP5+ Photo Series: Forgotten Who I Am

For years, I have been seeking the answers of a single question:WHAT IS “ME”? Sigmund Freud gave a psychological explaination: id, ego and super-go. But how many people can truely understand psychology?I wonder if there is an ideal model of “me” in one’s mind. I kept asking people the same question and piece up a series of photos withtheir ideas of “self ” and “life”. I found subjectivity very interesting, especially in fine art photography. In my following photography works, I am going to catch existing objects [reality] to express human thoughts [idealism].I enjoy the irreversibility of film photography. And I wish to conductmore dreamatic images which echo with human’s mind and inspire love.
