as the furniture fair in Milano celebrated its 50th edition, i had the opportunity to expose new projects with Meet My Project in the exhibition ‘Making Of’ from the 12th to the 17th of april this year. situated in the heart of Milano, ‘Grossetti Arte Contemporanea’ hosted the event which was composed of 18 different exhibitors selected from a wide variety of countries.with the ambition of presenting my latest work on the theme of structure and its visual clarity and expression, i presented 2 new designs that both in their own manner illustrate different ways to embody my current research.

a table where typologies are mixed and transparency ensures that each component can be seen and understood simultaneously, a mirror that is layered as to illustrate how reflections varies according to a viewpoint but also comes together perfectly at the right angle.

made out of translucent plastic (pmma), the table is assembled as to compose an original mono-material structure that offer strength and functionality.visually, the translucent properties of pmma is used to strengthen the tables own typology as a low table and discretely supersedes two distinct, but recognisable, classic forms.

the mirror is based on a vertical double layered structure that gives the observer slightly different reflections according position and angle. when looking straight ahead (90°), the mirror behaves as a regular mirror where no interference from the layered structure is apprehended.
