You have met a potential donor and want them to donate to your organisation/project
In pairs
One is the donor;
One is making the pitch
Write down your 1 minute pitch
~ 125-150 words
The donor can comment/help
10 minutes
Donors – Mark your partner’s pitch!
• 1 point for each of the following:
✓ Introduction to their organisation – do you understand what they do?
✓ Did they include an example or a case study?
✓ Why there is a need for their services – plus extra point if they give numbers
✓ How they make a difference – plus extra point for numbers
✓ How much money are they asking for?
✓ What will it be used for? – plus extra point for numbers
✓ Did they easily/quickly identify how much they wanted and for what?
• Calculate score out of 10
