MiniPOS - simple mobile payments and card acceptance
Welcome to MiniPOS. Thank you for choosing MiniPOS - a revolutionary POS solution on your smartphone. You will soon enjoy the freedom to receive card or Moneta payments, wherever you are, which will undoubtedly benefit your business.
How does it work?
MiniPOS uses an application ("app") on your Android device to process mobile and card payments. Payments are made in combination with a small PIN pad device that is connected to a secure Bluetooth wireless technology. The principle of operation is quite simple: 1. Enter the amount in the application and enter or choose a payment description from the list. 2. Insert the card data or initialize the PIN pad reader. 3. If you have selected the reader, your customer needs to insert the card into the PIN pad reader and confirm the transaction with the correct PIN entry and confirmation, the same as would otherwise have been done with the classic POS transaction. Alternatively, your customer may use a magnetic reader or NFC connection to transfer the card data, or manually enter them (Virtual Terminal Mode). 4. Depending on the scenario you have selected, the application displays the signature screen where your buyer signs the screen and confirms the purchase, thereby concluding it, which triggers the process where the application connects to the PayWiser system via the internet, which performs transaction authorization via the bank. The whole process takes up to 30 seconds and is completely safe. As far as the client's customer experience is concerned, it is the same as when shopping at a store, with some additional options if you and your customer choose the use of a magnetic record. Installing the MiniPOS application on your Android device is easy. This guide will help you to start using it as fast as possible.
What do I need?
In order to start accepting card payments, you need to make sure that:
1. Log your company in the PayWiser Process Centre and obtain a merchant account with our acquiring bank.
2. Datecs Bluepad50 PinPad.
3. Upload and configure the MiniPOS and Pair2PAy apps from the app store.
4. POS 58mm Bluetooth printer (optional)

Basic requirements
Merchant account
A merchant account is a special account through which money from card transactions (cards of your customers) is transferred to your bank account.
API key
The API key represents a link between your MID (MID or Merchant ID) and the MiniPOS account.
PIN pad reader
The MiniPOS system can be used by Bluepad50, BluePad 500 and other readers manufactured by Datecs or SZPOS. Other manufacturers are being added.
Handle your PIN pin reader extremely cautiously, since a large part of the security in the transaction depends on it. The reader is designed to prevent and prove the attempts of physical and software manipulation, which means that if the device is opened or cracked at any time (which may also happen due to falls), it will be
permanently disabled for use. Your customers need to trust the reader when they insert their cards into it, so make sure the reader is clean as well as safe and secure when not in use. Important! Ensure that the PIN pad battery will never be completely empty, as this would erase secure encrypted keys, which would cause the device to no longer function and would need to be sent to the manufacturer to make it functional again. Typically, the battery provides 25 days of power in storage after the first empty battery warning, which means that you should never store the PIN pad for a long period of time without fully charging the batteries.
Android device
The Android device should have at least OS v4.4 operating system or newer. Make sure it allows a resolution of at least 720 x 1280 px or higher, Bluetooth version 1.2 and has enough available data and application space.
Safety
Data transfer
All communication between connected systems is secured and encrypted according to PCI DSS standards (Payment Security
Industry Data Security Standards).
Data storage on the device and within the payment system
In no case does the application or any part of the MiniPOS or PayWiser system store or record any data that could be regarded
as sensitive information, such as PAN, CVV and the like. All data stored are irreversibly truncated information that would be
contrary to the PCI DSS standards.
Varnost aplikacije Application security
All application settings are stored in encrypted form and are only available to the app. MiniPOS will not work on an Android
device that does not run the genuine operating system, in order to prevent manipulation.

Use of MiniPOS as a hosted application
The MiniPOS application allows you to receive mobile and card payments wherever you are. Safe communication with the
PIN pad reader and process server ensures secure, easy and fast processing.
We have designed the PayWiser platform around interoperability, wherein our main concern is safety and ease. The
system is designed to allow traders, integrators and developers easy use and installing. With these goals in mind, we want
to offer you the opportunity to integrate mobile and card processing of payments into ANY android POS application,
thereby using and displaying MiniPOS application within your application.
Advantages
Instead of months that you would normally need to implement card readers, connect with process centres and banks,
provide secure payments, stream transactions, and spend even more time for testing and certification, code maintenance
and upgrades, you can easily use our MiniPOS application to do it for you, the same your POS application would.
MiniPOS will appear as if it were embedded in your solution. Additionally, you will have complete information about the
process, transaction results, and all important events.
Implementation
If you have your own Android POS application and would like to provide mobile and card payments to your customers
within a few days, we have already made the harder part of the deal for you. All you have to do is follow simple
instructions and achieve a good result.
We will provide you with detailed instructions, examples of code, and development support. Once you have completed
the installation, we will test and certify your implementation.
All your customers need to know is already included in this guide.
