partners are part of our environmental

minimizing the manufacturing waste that

Our ceiling tiles are one way we pass

along the opportunity to incorporate

tiles are especially beneficial in retrofit

projects because they eliminate the

need to throw away old ceiling tiles - this

will assist a project’s construction and

demolition waste management. This is“design for upgradability” in action and

one way ATI is your partner in achieving

EccoFlex, the newest member of our product family is made from 40% post industrial

recycled content material that is in accordance with the International Organization of

Standards document, ISO 14021. It exceeds compliance with most major third party ratingsystems – California Green Building Standards Code, LEED and Green Globes.

Specifying EccoFlex may assist project teams in complying with LEED product driven

credits, such as Material and Resources MR4 Recycled Content.

EccoFlex has many of the same properties as standard MirroFlex and is available in any

MirroFlex design. It is light weight, flexible until installed, has high impact resistance and

meets ASTM E84 Class 1 fire ratings.

EccoFlex is currently available in two finishes. EccoFlex Paintable, which is beautiful in its

natural state or can be painted the color of your choice, and EccoFlex Black. Additional

EccoFlex finishes are in development and will be announced soon!

MirroFlex FinishesMirroFlex finishes are generally available in any Structures design.

The most popular combinations are in stock for immediate delivery

(availability chart can be found on our Web site). Our Argent finishes

are abrasion and scratch resistant. Other finishes are available,

with some limitations. Call for our custom capabilities.

*Argent finishes have color throughout so scratches are less visible. They are perfect for walls in high traffic areas and temporary flooring.

offers designers a unique opportunity for larger samples. ATI will supply any pattern

in any finish in a 2' x 2' sample (minimal charge may apply).



Two-Tone Effects

Two-toning is a process where anadditional color can be added to some of

our designs.

We are able to hit the tops of the design

with another finish, usually chrome orgold (but patinas are possible as well).Common combinations are in stock forimmediate delivery.

MirroFlex Light DiffusersAdd design interest to your boring suspension ceiling.

Designed to fit most 2’ x 4’ grid suspension

fluorescent light fixtures. MirroFlex Light

Diffusers are usually made in a frosted

finish to mimic the light diffusion and lumen

characteristics of standard diffusers. They

are tegular, which means that they have

four flat edges to make installation simple.

Mirroflex Light Diffusers are lightweight at

approximately 1.7 lbs each. Other sizes and

GridMax™

GridMax is a patented snap-on grid cover designed to make grid systems invisible. It is cost effective and doesn’t rust

or scratch. Also perfect for highlighting only a section of a ceiling for a very cost effective way to change the look without

replacing the entire ceiling. GridMax is sized to go over 15/16" (24 mm) T-bar suspension grid systems, with other sizes

available by special order. Main’s, T’s and moldings are necessary to cover the entire grid system and come either boxed

together, to complete 100 square feet of ceiling, or are sold separately to use as needed. Available in select finishes;samples on request.

Trim is available to join and finish MirroFlex Structures. Edge J-Trim, Divider

Trim, Inside Corners and Outside Corners are available in 4' (1220mm) lengths

and can be cut to size easily. The Edge J-Trim simply slides onto the cut edge

of the panel. A deeper trim is also available for the designs that have a larger

profile. Most installations use decorative wood or metal moldings, but if these

elements are not used, MirroFlex Trim will finish the edges nicely. Available in

select finishes; samples on request.

Matching Finish Outletand Switch Covers

Outlet and switch covers are peel & stick

decorative laminate that is applied to

existing outlet and switch wall plates. One

package contains two sheets that are 6" x

12" (152mm x 305mm) and can be cut tofit most outlet or switch wall plates. See

select finishes; samples on request.

Adhesives

Many different adhesives and application techniques

can be used to apply Mirroflex products. Please

see ATI’s technical information on our website or

call Customer Service. Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

in rolls are suitable for DIY and some commercial

applications. MirroFlex double faced roll is 1 1/2" x

40' (38mm x 12.2meters).

Fabrication & Installation Tips

BIO-Built in Overlay

Our patent pending BIO has flat edges on two adjoining sides of the MirroFlex panel. By orienting all sheets in the same

direction and overlapping the panels, the seams are less noticeable. The placement of the sheet is also more flexible so that

slight imperfections in the substrate will not affect the finished look.

Inside & Outside Corners

Inside and outside corners can be a challenge for installers. In addition to our trim strips (shown on page 63), installers have

successfully used a commercial heat gun to gently heat the proper areas and bend MirroFlex for great looking edges.

Stapling

Our high impact MirroFlex sheets can be stapled into place with commercial staplers to either aid in an adhesive installation

or as a standalone solution. The head of the staples can be easily covered with color marking pens prior to use, making

them almost invisible. This works especially well in ceiling installations. Testing is always recommended to ensure this method

is suitable for the finished look and function required.

When overlapping four MirroFlex panels, it is

necessary to cut a ½" notch in panels 1 and 4

(where all panels meet) to avoid a bulge where

the panels meet.

Perforated Designs

In the 2' x 2' (610mm x 610mm) Glue Up size of Kelp, Mojave, Sahara and Wavation, you can get a "checkerboard effect" by

alternating between V (vertical) and H (horizontal) panels. When specifying for this application, please add a "V" or an "H" to

any of these designs. Shown below are 2' x 2' (610mm x 610mm) examples, which also show our BIO feature.

Perforated Designs are available in four finishes: N6 Brushed Stainless (non fire retardant) and 3 fire retardant Argents - Silver,

Copper & Gold. For a unique effect, paint the surface behind the perforated sheet in a contrasting color.

Tegular - The embossed part of the design is lower than the suspension grid and the 4 edgesare flat to fit nicely into the grid. Tegular tiles are designed to fit most 15/16” and 9/16” 2’ x 2’

grid systems, and can be found in our lay in ceiling tiles.

Temporary Flooring - Several MirroFlex Structures designs, with BIO and in an Argent

finish for wearability, have proven successful for flooring at tradeshows and other places where

flooring is temporary.

Tiles, Panels & Sheets

Glue Up - Available in both 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’ tiles, they are designed with an overlap system

(see BIO) to make installation easy, fast and forgiving. Glue Up tiles can be used on the ceiling

and on the wall.

Lay In Ceiling Tiles - Available in both 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’ tiles, they are designed to fit mo

suspension grid ceiling systems. The 2’ x 2’ size would produce no sag. It is recommended tha

a standard mineral tile (old or new) be used on top of our lay in tiles to hold them in place. The

2’ x 4’ size might produce sag and require a small amount of panel adhesive to eliminate sag.

DIY – Backsplash 18” x 24” Tiles - Do It Yourself (DIY) Tiles are primarily for the

consumer to use as backsplashes, on walls and on ceilings. The size is very easy to handle and produces less waste in backsplash applications. Display racks are available for this size tile.

Wainscot - Wainscot panel sizes are 30” x 48” or 32” x 48,” depending on the design.

They have BIO for great installation and are also suitable for full walls and ceilings too.

Since ATI products are used for many different applications,

MasterFormat (CSI) numbering will vary. ATI can provide guidance,

if needed. Please call ATI Customer Service for more information.

Cleaning & Care

Clean only with warm soapy water. Never use abrasive cleaners or

anything with harsh chemicals. A high quality auto polish may be

used to help protect the finish.

Storage

Store flat and acclimatize in the same environment for at least

24 hours before fabrication.

Advanced Technology, Inc. believes all information contained herein to

be correct. It is the responsibility of the fabricator/customer to completely

test the adhesives and methods of fabrication to ensure that the results

are satisfactory. ATI is not responsible for any fabrication or ancillary costs

involved with using MirroFlex products.

All shipments are to be inspected within 10 working days after delivery.We are to be informed in writing of any potential adjustment necessary.

The seller’s only obligation wil l be to replace defective sheets on a one to

one basis. Neither the manufacturer nor the seller shall be liable for any

additional damage or loss, directly or indirectly, arising as a result of using

MirroFlex products.

Slight imperfections and color variations from sheet to sheet are possible

and considered normal. Please inspect each sheet carefully before

fabrication to ensure it meets your needs.

1. Easy to Install

MirroFlex is compatible with many different adhesives and installation

methods. Fabrication and installation are both very easy with these

products. In addition, most designs are supplied with removable peel

coat for added protection during installation. For further details, visit

2. Lightweight

1/4 pound per square foot.

3. Flexible

Sheets can be rolled and boxed for UPS shipment.

4. Fire Retardant

MirroFlex meets ASTME 84 Class 1. Even though it is fire retardant,

panels can be deformed with excessive heat. Never expose to over

140° F. Specific technical fire data is available upon request. Painted

tiles may no longer be fire retardant under ASTME 84 Class 1 and must

be tested on an individual basis.

5. High Impact Resistant and Chemical Resistant

Surprisingly high impact, chemical and scratch resistant properties.

6. Your Finishes

Paintable MirroFlex can be painted with a variety of paint types to

match your finishes. See our technical information on our website or call
