FOUR-DAY PROGRAMME Culminating in a performance on the final afternoon. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DANCER Some dance experience preferred. Due to popular demand, Co3 Australia is back. Join professional teaching artists who have recently returned from the stages of Sydney and Adelaide, and who regularly perform at the Heath Ledger Theatre. All dancers are encouraged to have fun exploring a range of dance styles, from contemporary to hip hop to jazz to lyrical. There will be plenty of time for creativity and choreography with new friends. TWO-DAY PROGRAMME STUDENT SHARK TANK FRIENDLY, SUPPORTIVE AND REWARDING 10 and 11 July | Suitable for 10 years and above. Participants will explore their passions, create amazing solutions using robotics and other digital tools, build a business that may one day become a reality, and present their amazing creations such as the TV programme “Shark Tank”. A highly motivating, fun, hands-on two days that the kids will never forget. MIX IT UP Choose one or any combination of these classes for up to four days. See timetable. COOKING - NEW CHEF PAUL SALMERI For safety reasons, participants must be 10 years or above. We are honoured to welcome Paul, whose accomplished career includes spending several years at the Michelin-starred restaurant The River Café in London. Between escorting Italian gastronomic tours, Paul is delighted to share his love of food and creativity with the next generation at Masterclass. PHOTOGRAPHIC FINESSE Join accomplished photographer and graphic design guru Sandra Herd to discover the magic of pinhole photography over two days, then learn the secrets of composition as you search the College grounds for the letters of the alphabet, which you’ll use to complete your very own, never-to-be-repeated name plate. Lastly, accept the challenge to go on “assignment” to shoot the cover for your favourite magazine. ART IMMERSION Embrace the enthusiasm of visual artist Leigh Claessen, who has been represented locally and internationally, in our new art studio and awaken the artist within. Delve into the abstract world, design decorative pots, explore incredible artists and test their techniques. Finish each day inspired with new skills and your own masterpiece. THE MAGIC OF PINHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY: DAY 1Learn how to make a take-home pin-hole camera, and once it’s constructed embrace your inner photographer to experiment, creating black and white photographs.

THE MAGIC OF PINHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY: DAY 2Refine your photographs then access specialist dark room facilities to bring the image to life using only eco-friendly household products. The tips and tricks learnt will enable our budding photographers to use their pin-hole cameras and process the photos at home.

YOUR NAME AS PHOTO ART Learn the secrets of photography and composition and discover how to ‘see the unusual’ in ordinary places. Students will explore the College grounds looking for letters of the alphabet in nature, and then create their own unique piece.

DESIGN AND SHOOT YOUR OWN MAGAZINE COVER Want to shoot the next cover for Monster Truck magazine, K-Zone or National Geographic? Students will shoot a cover image “on assignment” and gain an understanding of design principles with real-world application. Creativity and passion at play.

Delve into the abstract world, decorate pots, explore incredible artists and test their techniques. Finish each day with new skills and your own masterpiece.

PICASSO PORTRAITS An introduction to Pablo Picasso. Look at patterns and layering and the use of mirrors to apportion the face into fun shapes. Exaggerate, experiment and explore with paper and card and a plethora of colourful mediums to make the Picasso portrait come alive.

TERRIFIC TERRACOTTA Play with pattern to create a design on A4 paper that will be replicated onto a terracotta pot. Explore various colour combinations for the ultimate design scheme, finished with permanent markers and metallic pens. Make it a feature for your bedroom or use it as a gift.

AMAZING ABSTRACT ASSEMBLAGES: DAY 1 An introduction to famous abstract artists. Learn and test their techniques and explore abstract and fluid art, experimenting with a plethora of paints and inks.

AMAZING ABSTRACT ASSEMBLAGES: DAY 2 Add to your design with samples of collage to create your own unique abstract assemblage. So many incredible mediums to use and skills to explore in a fun and friendly studio.
