• Malaysian Liquefied Natural Gas

• Tg, Kidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak

• Consist of 3 major processing area i.e MLNG SATU, MLNG DUA & MLNG

TIGA.

• Gas Turbine – Driven Compressors which convert gas to liquid at cryogenic

temperature ( - 162 degree C)

– Only selected CI parts removes as determine by GE Engineering. 6 out of 10 removed except TP which was not removed

– Removed parts was inspected thoroughly (visual, NDT, measured, etc)

New Experiences • Safety

– Mandatory requirement –Safety Glass & Coverall (Dark Blue)

– NPSP, MLNG Pass (Specific Safety Induction for working inside MLNG), AE/SP Confined Space, PTW Taker

• Work – Hold point – no work can proceed unless inspected and

approved by QA/QC & TA

– Witness point – QA/QC & TA have to be present to witness the activities

– For GT Frame 5 DLN1, normal CI procedure practiced in MLNG does not include removal of Transition Pieces

Frame 7, 2 nos of AN200 Compr., 1 no of 3MCL Compr. and 2 nos of Steam Turbine

• From March till December – Train/Module 7 – March - CI

– GTG4020 & GTG94050 – April~Jun - HGPI

– Module 4 – Jun~July - CI

– GTG94010 – July - CI

– GTG94020 – August - CI

– Module 6 – August~October – MI

– Train/Module 8 – November - CI

– GTG94030 – November~December - CI

• Average 90 REMACO + 200 contractor manpower

• Inspection to different type of Gas Turbine i.e Frame MS5001 DLN1 and Frame MS7001 / MS7001 DLN1
