CAHS Testing ScheduleTuesday, March 4 through Thursday, March 6, 2014

ALL 3 DAYS OF TESTING ARE MANDATORY!

Buses will take students home at approximately 12:15

NO SCHOOL on March 4, 2014 for 9th, 10th, 12th Grade

Wednesday March 5

 7:20-10:45 9th, 10th, 11th(+ few 12th) Grade Testing9th – ACT PLAN (required)

10th – ACT Released Test (required)

11th (some 12th)- MME Day 2: ACT WorkKeys (required)

No Late StartBuses will run at regular time for testing students

10:45-2:15 All students (including 12th grade) will have a Half Day starting at 10:45(Hrs. 1-3 for all students)

Buses will run 3.5 hours later than regular day for 12th graders

HALF-DAY (afternoon) on March 5, 2014 for ALL StudentsAll other students will be TESTING in the morning and classes in the afternoon!

Why Do I Need to Take the MME?

Determines Student Growth for students from year to year!!ACT Explore 8thACT PLAN 9th ACT Released 10thMME 11th

The MME is mandatory for juniors in the state of Michigan – all 3 days must be completed during this schedule (other Saturday ACT’s do not substitute)

ACT portion is college reportable – and is paid for by the state

It is a graduation requirement for Carman-Ainsworth High School

Can earn exam exemptions in senior year through MME only (voted student favorite!)

Attendance at MME Testing is CRITICAL!

It is critical that juniors are present to take the MME on the scheduled dates. Have parent CALL IN (591-3243) if ill.

Only ONE makeup session is scheduled (March 18-20)

All ACT testing guidelines MUST be followed – no exceptions!!

Necessary Items for Test Days:Photo ID – Driver’s

License or School ID

Pencils/Calculator

Snack for break all days

Regular lunch on 3/5 and 3/6

Testing Hints

Once a testing session ends – do not go back and bubble – entire MME Test will be voided.

Tests are timed – pace yourself.

Make sure you answer every question.

Special NotesArrive on Time!!! Late Arrivals are not permitted to test and will be sent home!Report to cafeteria on Day 1

ABSOLUTELY NO Cell Phones/Electronics – leave at home or put in locker! Teachers are not allowed to collect them.

The entire MME Test is voided if cell phone/electronics are brought in the room!
