Mobileye C2-270 Components● The Vision Sensor Unit with the

compact High Dynamic Range CMOS (HDRC) camera, Mobileye EyeQ2 chip, proprietary algorithms and audio alert that attaches to the inside of the vehicle’s windshield.

● The Multiple Angle Mounting (MAM) bracket to fit most vehicles.

● The user-friendly, high visibility EyeWatch display and control unit, for visual warnings and numerical headway measurement display, with control switches for customizing the system settings.

● The System Connections Hub and Power Supply Unit (PS3).

How does it work?

Mobileye intelligently analyzes inputs from a single smart camera, mounted on the inside of the vehicle's windshield, constantly monitoring the road ahead.

It provides the driver with critical real-time audio and visual warnings of unintended lane departures, imminent collisions, pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists on the road.

Mobileye also has the ability to intelligently control high beams, and recognize various traffic signs.

Mobileye Chip – SeeQ2®

A single board Vision System Unit (VSU)- An advanced stand-alone camera and vision processing module.

Mobileye's SeeQ2® offers a compact and powerful processing platform for computationally intensive real time visual recognition and scene interpretation applications. The highly integrated SeeQ2 board includes the Mobileye EyeQ2™, an extremely powerful vision processor, a High Dynamic Range CMOS image sensor, Flash and SDRAM memories and all the additional components required for a standalone vision system: CAN and GPIO interfaces, protected power supply and expansion connector.

The VSU's compact dimensions (1.3 inches x 2.56 inches) allows for easy integration into the vehicle, such as at the base of the rear-view mirror.

The SeeQ2® board is based on Mobileye's EyeQ2™ vision system on a chip (VSoC) that runs Mobileye's range of driver assistance applications.

The Mobileye EyeQ2™ capabilities include Lane Detection and Road Geometry estimation, Vehicle Detection, Intelligent High-Beam Control, Traffic Sign Recognition and Pedestrian Detection.

The SeeQ2® board serves as the processing platform Mobileye C2-270.

System Components

PS3 – (System Connections Hub and Power Supply Unit)

The vision sensor unit contains the camera and the main processor (EyeQ™) of Mobileye C2-270.It is easily attached to the inside of the vehicle’s windshield by the multi-angle mount (MAM) provided with the system. In Mobileye C2-270, the Vision Sensor Unit also includes a small built-in audio alert system.

The System Connections Hub (PS3) is used to connect all system components and vehicle wiring together.

Analog Signals Cable

CAN-B Cable

This cable connects to the vehicle's analog signals.If an analog installation is conducted, Mobileye C2-270 requires the following vehiclesignals as input:● Speed signal (VSS)● Right turn signal● Left turn signal● Brake light signal● Wipers signal● High Beams signal

The CAN-B Connector Cable connects to the vehicle's CAN interface in order to retrieve the digital Speed Signal (and if available through CAN, other required vehicle signals).The cable’s 2 wires (CAN High, CAN Low,) connect on one side to the vehicles CAN High and CAN Low wires and on the other side to the PS3 unit.

EyeCAN

M.A.M – Multiple Angle Mount (Camera windshield adapter)

Note: The EyeCAN cable kit is not part of the Mobileye C2-270 kit.It is purchased separately and used as one of the installation tools for calibration purposes and CAN sniffing. The EyeCAN Cable connects between the PS3 unit and a laptop computer for calibration purposes and software upgrades.It is connected to the PS3 unit at the end of the installation process and it is removed once the calibration process has been completed and a test drive has been successfully executed.

The MAM is an adjustable camera mount for all vehicle types. It enables the installer to quickly adjust the camera’s angle according to the vehicle’s windshield angle without the need to use different camera mounting adapters.
