ONLINE ID CALCULATOR RESULTS

• I have learned that I have to monitor my online presence often.

• I need to use more platforms to that I can remain diverse with my brand.

• I need to request recommendations online as well as testimonials on their experiences when working with my brand.

STUDENT CHOICE ASSESSMENT RESULTS

• I learned from this assessment that I have a very carry nature even in business.

• Outside of doing things so that I can take care of myself I should also do a lot of volunteer work.

• The colors of my business should be soft and neutral.

HOOTSUITE I structured my Hootsuite as recommended with 5 tabs: Brand, Industry, Competitor,

Blogs, & Social Media. With the Brand tab I can keep track of anything that comes up for the business name that will be the reflection of my personal brand. With the Industry tab I can keep up Mimi G Style and Munaluchi Bridal Magazine. Mimi G Style always has a lot of inspiration for fashion and making things by hand. With the Competitor tab I will be

looking at anyone that have event planning in their post. I don’t want to limit my views to just one person because anyone can become a competitor. For the Blog tab I follow Mimi G Style for fashion ideas and inspiration. For Social media I follow the Munaluchi Bridal Magazine post on Facebook and Twitter. It’s a wealth of ideas for the wedding planning

portion of my business. It helps inspire ideas for me when I’m planning.

HOOTSUITE - SOCIAL MEDIA• The personal brand name that I am

monitoring is Exquisitely Handcrafted. This is the business I started for handmade items and event and wedding planning.

• So far I have installed Facebook and Instagram on Hootsuite to monitor my brand.

• I am following any conversations that have Exquisitely Handcrafted. Monitoring this I will see if anyone else uses the business name so if I have recommendations I can add them to my site. If I have someone who decides to spread negative remarks I can handle them at the start.

HOOTSUITE

• I have learned through these streams that consistency is the key to building a popular brand.

• I have learned that you have to present your self in a way that catches the attention of your target market.

• While presenting myself in an away that attracts my target market I must do it often because most of the time for a business or company the saying out of site out of mind can stunt the growth of a new brand.

GOOGLE ALERTS• I setup my Google Alert to

let me know when Tabitha Crosby, Amazon, and Handmade Items are mentioned.

GOOGLE ALERTS

• Through these alerts I did find anything under Tabitha Crosby.

• For Amazon I found information about their financial status, new post about them on the web, blog posts, and information about their website.

• For handmade items I found that some crocheters were crocheting things for the homeless.

GOOGLE ALERTS

• From this I learned that I need to build the brand for Tabitha Crosby more since it had no results. Amazon is what I am aiming for as a brand because every aspect of their business had a category. With the handmade items I got an idea to organize crafting some items to be given to the homeless.

• I will use this information to fill in the gaps of my brand. To make my brand popular and to make people take notice of what I am doing.

• In doing this my targeted audience will be people who want to purchase handmade items. People who are looking for someone to assist with planning their event.

• For this feed I set it up with three categories: Entertainment, Event Planning, & Handmade Items

• Under Entertainment I am following: Event Manager Blog, Event Planning Blue print, & Special Events Magazine.

• Under Event Planning I am following: Event Planning, Green Wedding Shoes, Ruffled, & Style Me Pretty.

• Under Handmade Items I am following: Handmade items, Handmade Success, & Try Handmade.

FEEDLY

• I decided to follow the sites that I choose because I feel that they will give me the information I need to remain relevant in the Event Planning and Handmade items world. I will use these items to build a brand that is competitive in todays market.

FEEDLY

• I looked up the article titled “How to Find A Market for Your Handmade Items” on Mother Earth News Blogs site - From this site I learned where I should take my handmade items to sell. This is important so that I will be able to build a reputation to help the business grow.

• I also read an article titled “How Technology Has Helped Event Planners To Provide Better Services” on TG Daily website . This article goes over how technology will help my service my clients better. I can use the instructions in this article to add more creativity to my events and set myself apart for the rest of the market.

• Lastly I read an article titled “Video Trends in Events: Mixed Reality, Camera Robots, and Projection Mapping" on Endless Events website. This article gives me information about whats trending technology wise for event planners. I can use this information and incorporate the knowledge when planning future events.
