Die impression stencils are a popular way to order this paper this allows stencils with your trademark or other repetitive data on roll or flat stencils, spaced at convenient increments,
to enable you to add (with typewriter or Monode Stencil Cutting Typewriter) extra information, such as part number, heat treat code, sizes, etc., as needed. Die impression is available
with and without logos in rolls or boxed in sheets.
Tractor fed is a very popular use for some of the computer controlled stencil cutting machines.
This paper comes in three styles: • TF - A light duty paper for shallow etch applications. This is blue in color. • TFB - This is a heavier duty paper used for both shallow etch applications and some deep etch applications. This paper is blue in color. • TFG - This paper has the same quality as the TFB above with the difference of a translucent green color.

High quality etch solution for your serializing, 2D or low volume application. Designed for the complexelectrochemical etch marking applications in aerospace that use 2D or UID specifications. This unit is the benchmark for customers who require the flexibility of on site stencil cutting with the high qualitystandars of a photo process stencil.
Available Marking Area - Send drawing or sketch with dimension. If mark is on radius, show both I.D. and O.D. of marking area. Make allowances for bevels, chamfers, radii, etc. which limit the marking area. Double-check references to diameter vs. radius. If pitch diameter or pitch radius is shown, be certain that character height allows space above and below legend.
Position of Mark in this Area - Indicate on above sketch if mark is to be centrally located, or nearer O.D., or nearer I.D.. Also indicate limitation such as spacing of bolt-holes, shoulders or other interferences.
Over-All Size of Mark - Distinguish between marking area, and size of mark.
Style and Height of Each Line - Distinguish the style and height of each line of lettering, figures, etc. With desired SPACE BETWEEN LINES.
Exact Legend - Paying particular attention to commas, dashes, extra spaces, periods or noperiods in legends like U.S.A., USA, PSI, etc. DO NOT USE QUOTATION MARKS, or PARENTHESESin legend sketch, UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO APPEAR IN THE LEGEND.
Indicate on Sketch the Direction of Legend with relation to length of stencil as well asLOCATION of LEGEND. (On Die-impression stencils, will additional material be typed AFTER the mark or under the mark?)
Number of Times Mark is to Appear on Stencil - When several marks are to appear on a single stencil show desired location of marks on sketch. (Allow room for masking between marks. It is poor economy to place marks so close that only every second mark may be used.)
Approximate vs. Exact Spacing between marks. Unless specifically requested, duplicate marks on flat stencils, and spacing between marks on roll stencils, will be plus or minus 1/4”. If jigs or fixtures are used to mark several parts at one time, it will be necessary to prepare art work to exactly fit the fixture. Pairs, trios or sets of 4 will then be placed on stencils at reasonablespaced intervals. Send sketch with dimensions of proposed or prevailing fixtures.
Observance of the requirements shown on this checklist will expedite delivery of stencils which you can use in production as soon as received. Beautifully made stencils, promptly
delivered, do not make friends if some significant detail is overlooked.
