Last week it was wonderful to experience some very much needed rain. Unfortunately it didnt get to everywhere that it was needed but hopefully it is the beginning of a wet year ahead! It was a special week last week with the Student Leadership Inducon, Barrier Swimming Carnival, Barrier trials and The Big Veggie Crunch. We also had Mrs Kaye, Mrs Halpin and Ms Simmons aend a leadership course here in Broken Hill. We connue with our parent informaon meengs this week for Years 1 to 4. These are a great opportunity to connue the learning partnership with your class teacher. We have our family fun evening coming up on Monday 23rd March commencing at 5pm. The aim of this evening is for our school community to come together to connect and also have some fun! It is mely to remind students about the need to hand in mobile phones at the office when they come to school and then collect them at the end of the day from the office. There is an increase in the types of smart watches in everyday life and school is no different. We ask that if your child has one that you have a talk with them to ensure that they are appropriately used at school (ie only for telling the me). Have a wonderful week of learning! Thought for the week: “Aim for success, not perfecon. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfeconism.” David M. Can you really believe that we are in Week Seven already! Last week it was wonderful to experience some very much needed rain. Unfortunately it didn’t get to everywhere that it was needed but hopefully it is the beginning of a wet year ahead! It was a special week

last week with the Student Leadership Induction, Barrier Swimming Carnival, Barrier trials and The Big Veggie Crunch. We also had Mrs Kaye, Mrs Halpin and Ms Simmons attend a leadership course here in Broken Hill. We continue with our parent information meetings this week for Years 1 to 4. These are a great opportunity to continue the learning partnership with your class teacher. We have our family fun evening coming up on Monday 23rd March commencing at 5pm. The aim of this evening is for our school community to come together to connect and also have some fun! It is timely to remind students about the need to hand in mobile phones at the office when they come to school and then collect them at the end of the day from the office. There is an increase in the types of smart watches in everyday life and school is no different. We ask that if your child has one that you have a talk with them to ensure that they are appropriately used at school (ie only for telling the time). Have a wonderful week of learning!
