2016 Fall Pastors Retreat
Dr. Bill Shiell, is the
President of Northern
Seminary in Lomard, IL.
Dr. Shiell holds a PhD
from Baylor University
in New Testament and
served as a pastor for
seventeen years. He has
authored several books,
including, Reading Acts:
The Lector and the Early Christian Audience and
Sessions with Matthew: Becoming a Family of
Faith.
This years retreat is titled “Charter For A
Common Way” and will focus on the book of
Acts. Through our five retreat sessions with
Dr. Shiell we focus on Charter, Change,
Challenge, Application, and Charter for a
Common Way...28 sermon starters.
MOSES MERRILL Moses Merrill Camp and Conference Center offers
a comfortable place to rest from the demands of
daily ministry in the local church. Join your fellow
ABC/NE pastors for worship, continuing education,
and fellowship. Continuing education credits will
be available. The three day retreat event begins
Monday October 17 with a relaxing afternoon and
ends Wednesday October 19 after morning wor-
ship.
