❖ Do not get the holiday homework done by an expert. It will be

appreciated if the student does it himself or herself.

❖ Holiday Homework must be seen as an interesting and creative Act done

that helps in overall development of the students.

❖ Therefore, students should be requested to enjoy the creative homework.

❖ The following document contain summer vacation holiday homework in

3 parts: -

• Creative Homework.

• Assignments for each subjects (strictly as per P.A syllabus (for

revising the portion taught in class)

• International Days Celebration (to mark the Importance of the

Days)

❖ Last but not the least, revise all the subjects as it will help you for future

assessments.

For The Parents

Be a Friend : Play games with your child like – Ludo, Carom-board or scrabble.

Sharpen Memory : Put a few things on a tray show the tray to your child for a

while and then cover the tray. Ask your child to name the objects which were on

the tray. This activity will help enhancing the memory and vocabulary of your

child.

SUBJECT 1.ENGLISH

HOMEWORK ALLOTED (Reading ,Writing, Thinking and Listening Skills) QI. Look at the following entry for the word "chutney" in an online dictionary. It is an Indian word which is now used commonly in English:

• Go to Google and search for the meaning. Listen to the pronunciation of that word by clicking on (speaker Icon) beside the word. Write the meaning of that word and frame a sentence with it and also write whether it's a noun or a verb. Use an online dictionary to find the meanings of these words of Indian origin. a. bungalow b. scented c. jute d. brink c. cheetah d. shampoo e. delicious.

QII. Though Akash was from a good city, he decided to work in a village . If you had choice would you live in a city or a village? Write an essay (150 words) on the topic- A- Is city life better or B- Is village life better QIII. Family Time:- Writing Skills As the holidays are also a time for families to get together, you have to interview your family, create a family tree and collect stories about them( hobbies , liking , disliking , their childhood memories etc) .This will help you practice asking questions, to listen, and write the content in a logical manner. QIV. "Pronunciation is important. Words are understood better when pronounced correctly". You are requested to improve your pronunciation. Learn 5 new word every day. Maintain them in your Eng Language Notebook

• Write whether it’s a Noun , Verb , Adjective or Adverb. Frame a sentence from it and add a conjunction to it. Add a punctuation mark to it.(full stop, comma , exclamation or question mark) example- delicious :adjective . Sentence : My mother and sister baked a delicious brown bread.(and :- conjunction)

• Do 5 problems of each, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in a notebook on daily basis

your favourite computer from those generations and

write one page including its features / drawbacks and

examples in your ICT notebook.

• Make a PPT of at least 20 to 25 slides on the topic

"What do you think computers will be like in 2050" Use

text and images. Upload the ppt on Ms Teams in your

name folder.

• Write at least 15 interesting shortcut keys and their use

in computer in your ICT Notebook.

• Make any one doll out of waste materials with the

costume worn in any given states (Rajasthan,

Meghalaya, Sikkim)

6. EVS

• Write any 5 main headlines daily from newspaper or

T.V You can paste the cuttings or write the same in the

GK Notebook.

• Make a collage in the GK Notebook showing any five

women achievers who were our pioneers in their field

and record holders.

▪️Plant a sapling , water it daily and watch it growing.( Also click a photo with it daily and paste the photos in your EVS notebook. ▪️Make a working model of Respiratory System . ▪️Make a Chart on the topic " Fields to Kitchen ".( It should be attractive and meaning full)
