Floor MonitorAccordant has three public modules which anyone in the company can use without the need for extra licences. People Finder is a useful tool that can be used to locate people, assets and locations through a search tool and filters. The information is then displayed either in card, icon or list views and is linked to a floor plan, which can be turned into a PDF for your convenience.

If you are an authorised user you also have the ability to move and change small things with this module, including relocating a member of staff or changing the departmental allocation of a chargeable location.

Meeting Rooms and Hot Desks

Book Meeting Rooms is another public module which allows the user to find a room through a search tool and filters with specific requirements and book the room for the desired time slot.

The Hot Desk Centre is the third public module, this allows the user to search for a suitable hot desk, filtered by location and equipment requirement before booking for a desired time slot, with an automatic confirmation email.

Space Management – Floor Monitor

Authorised users can alter allocations through drag and drop.

Having an accurate view of occupancy is crucial for al businesses. If the headcount is going up or down users can look at the future and answer questions concerning when a new building/floor will be needed or whether a lease on an existing one needs to be renewed.

Optimal use of premises leads to significant savings in operating costs.

Accordant Hot desking provides resource savings when people do not need to be in the office all the time.

Space allocations are done "immediately" based on current data so there is little or no ongoing “poly-lining” – and today's figures refer to today and not three weeks ago when an arbitrary desk perimeter line was drawn. Balance sheets show measured vs allocated - calculated in real time.

Move Manager

Move jobs are easy to set up; people and equipment can be added and scheduled.

Floor diagrams can be clicked into the move and movers dragged and dropped to new locations. Propsed CAD layouts can be used.

As soon as moves are scheduled, totals appear on the report by building and by project.

Moves and changes are simple to plan and report. Drag-and drop interfaces and comprehensive, automated documentation make the process simple, controllable and transparent for users and movers alike.

Accordant can deliver "mistake-free" moves – People go to the right desks, items don’t get "lost" and resources are better utilised.

Moves can be surveyed prior to relocation to find missing, extra or moved items to avoid surprises when the move happens.

Entire areas can be quickly surveyed using bar codes and results bulk-uploaded and queried against current records to determine moved/missing/new etc.

If fewer mistakes are made, you don't lose time with “snagging”.

The magic Moving Bus allows authorised users to move people from their department or building to a different location anywhere in the estate that they are able to access.

Add people and assets to the moving bus using the search tools, complete an asset survey to check if all asset will be moving and that they are all present, upload the destination floor plan and drag and drop people onto their new allocated desk.

After you have allocated everyone a new location, use the documentation tab to create move packs, labels and work order sheets for the services which you have attached to the job.

One of the great things about this module is that nothing is permanent until you restack. You can create a range of 'what if' scenarios without changing anyone's actual location and use the services tab to keep track of costings.

If you want the move to go ahead set the moving date and restack to enter all information into the schedule.

Estate Manager

Manage your entire estate to make sure your space is being used effectively.

See an overview of your space allocation by Estate, Building or Floor using the locator bar.

Look at the types and sizes of rooms and see further information about locations on the floors. Selection of a building and floor can be done using the locator bar. Once a floor is selected, the floor plan is displayed in the default view mode of Measured Areas. There is a key in the top left of the screen detailing what the floor plan shows.

Accordant Anywhere App

Accordant Anywhere is a new range of apps that allows the user to use people finder or complete surveys whilst moving around the building. Available on Android devices the app can be used to complete occupancy, room or asset surveys whilst on the move.

Accordant Anywhere allows the user to zoom into their position on the floor plan and choose a desk or room to survey. Once you click the desk a survey appears and you can choose the accurate answer from the scrolling list. You can complete an entire floor in a matter of minutes.

The information is then delivered straight to the data base offering users live information. This app can be used on all Android hand held devices including smart phones and tablets. For those with a bar code location system, you also have the added benefit of being able to use a compatible blue tooth bar code scanner which will automatically pin point your position on the floor plan.
