    Would you like to help another student improve

    his or her skills in English while learning about

    another culture yourself? Would you like to

    volunteer to help fellow students on campus?

    English Conversation Pairs is the perfectopportunity to do so. In this program, sponsored

    by the ESL Program and the International Studen

    and Scholar Services offices, non-native speaker

    of English are paired with native-speaker-of-

    English students, and the two spend an hour or s

    a week together in conversation. The purpose is

    to promote improved English language skills as

    well as cross-cultural exchanges of information

    and friendship. Native English speakers whoa re

    interested in volunteering one hour of their timea week can contact Shannon
