with your child. Have your child try the homework
first on their own, then help them correct it.
Excel Math Math concepts are woven
into a smooth and cohesive curriculum.
Students practice using concepts after the concepts are introduced. 155 Lessons: lesson,
homework, guided practice and basic fact practice.

Cross-Curricular Units My goal to tie each
students IEP goals into the districts History and Science curriculum taught at the students’ individual learning level.
Homework I will assign about 20-30 minutes of homework most
nights (I try not to assign on homework Wednesdays). Homework is due the next day unless otherwise noted. Please allow your child to attempt their homework
independently at first and then support them if needed. I will always encourage you to have your child read aloud
to you from a book of their choice. Reading out loud is one of the best ways to help a child develop their independent reading skills and a love of reading.
