Hi Bulldogs! March 26, 2020 With Covid 19 sweeping the country and Portland sheltering in place, it's hard to stay focused on school. It's a challenge for us too! Here are some ideas that might help you get in the rhythm of school: The daily schedule is different, but get into the routine of remote school as soon as possible. Wake up at the same time, make and stick to a regular routine. Eat breakfast. Dress as if you were going to PHS - don’t forget the blue and white! Sitting in front of a screen means not moving much between classes. You definitely won't be climbing all those stairs! So take frequent breaks, stretch, and get some water. Eat at regular times, and try and get some fruit and veggies in too. Exercise everyday! Get outside. Go for a walk, run, or bike ride. Try a youtube workout or yoga class. Keep in touch with your friends and classmates by phone, text, facetime - we are all feeling isolated and it is good to hear and talk to others. Show people you love them by keeping 6 feet away. And of course, wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds at least. Don't touch your face. Whether you came in for a quick cup of water, a pain reliever, a bandaid, or because you weren’t feeling well, know that we miss seeing you in the nurse's office. Until we're all back at PHS, let us know how we can help...need a sports clearance? A follow-up appointment at GPH? Getting headaches, stomach aches or feeling sick? Let us know. And if you don't need anything right now, that's great, too. Call or email - we'd love to hear how you're doing. Nurse McNeill (207) 653-6636 [email protected] Ms. Ylagan [email protected]

Hi Bulldogs! March 26, 2020

With Covid 19 sweeping the country and Portland sheltering in place, it's hard to stay focused on school. It's a challenge for us too! Here are some ideas that might help you get in the rhythm of school:

The daily schedule is different, but get into the routine of remote school as soon as possible.
