The muscular system consist of all the muscles in the body, all their functions, the movements that the muscles do…We are going to talk about things that you can do to help the muscles and things you never must do because they damage the muscles.
During the relax our muscle are larger and thinner.During the contraction our muscle is shorter but thicker. When your arm is bending, your biceps is contracting and your triceps is relaxed.
We have muscles in the neck, arms, trunk and legs.
The movement of the muscles occurs because of movable joints.
We use two muscles in each movement. They are called antagonistic muscles. For example, when the biceps contracts the triceps relaxes.
• The movements of muscles are coordinated and controlled by the brain and nervous system.
• The involuntary muscles are controlled by structures in the brain and part of the spinal cord called the brain stem.
• The voluntary muscles are regulated by the cerebral motor cortex and the cerebellum.
Muscles move body parts by contracting and then relaxing. Muscles can pull bones, but they can't push them back to the original position.
Musculature and skeleton work together.Muscles joint to the bones with tendons. The musculoskeletal system allows us to run, jump, swim , ride a bike or walk.
• To eat a variety of food:
balance diet.
• To practice regular exercise
•To breath fresh air
•To drink pure water
All these actions help us
to be healthy.
