Promotional The band HIM have a variety of record labels such as Razor&Tie in the US , Double Cross (Cooking Vinyl) for the UK label, and Universal and The end.

The way the band was promoted was because of their band logo which many people liked and then found out about the band. American skateboarder Bam Margera discovered the band in 2000 when he was in Finland and then used their music and logo in his videos and also had a number of tattoos of the logo getting his fans interested in the band and music and using the logo on his skateboards and other merchandise of his and this lead the band to getting signed in America .

The band have a social media profiles for their band to let the fans know information about the band. The profiles they have are an official Facebook Page, a Youtube Account, and a Myspace Account.

Extension of income The band get extra income from their website where they are selling all different merchandise for the band. Their new music is played on different rock radio stations and this builds an audience for the band, making them gain more fans this also helps them get more money. They have their own social media sites and they promote themselves by telling people when their next album is out, and where they can buy it, and also the different offers they have on merchandise which helps them get more money and promote themselves by getting their fans to buy their merchandise and wear the bands name and logo so then they can gain more fans and get more money. The band makes a large amount of money yearly making $327, 273 every year. As of 2014 after their release of the album Tears on Tape, the made $225,000, but made $2,454,546 including band merch and tour tickets sold that year. The band has 1, 902, 193 likes on their facebook page where they add photos of the band performing and of them recording and videos , also updates, offers on the band merch and tour dates.

Extension of outlets The extension of outlets for the band, one of them is the offers they have on the cd’s on their merchandise website where they are re-releasing all there old albums with the different demos on and doing deals for a certain amount of time where the fans can buy them .

The band have their music on Spotify so the fans can listen to the music whenever they want, and the different live videos of them perfoming live making the audience want to go see them live themselves. The band put videos of them performing or interviews they are doing on their facebook page or youtube accounts so the fans can watch them , and this gives the fans a better connection with the band.The label uses the band by releasing different types of merchandise with the band logo on which is the heartagram, and re-releasing their old albums with bonus tracks etc to get more money because of how popular their old albums were and try to make more money out of their re-releases, and also by the music videos that they make for the band when they know how many fans will want to watch it like the music video for tears on tape had 1,461,737 views, which most of the fans watched and liked the song making them want to buy their new album or see them live, giving the band more income.

Synergy The synergy of the band is that the band get more fans and more money making them more well known in different countries by appearing in different magazines, selling merchandise, touring etc. This not only helps the band and the fans but also everyone involved , such as the magazines which the band is featured in because the fans see the pictures of the band and buy the magazine, and other people who are fans of the magazine discover the band, making everyone gain something .

Producers strategies The producers strategies for making the band, build a bigger audience by designing the different designs on the merchandise , such as having the same designs on the clothes as the album cover and them bringing those designs into the music videos, organising a world tour soon after the release and promotional interviews and photoshoots for magazines. Some of the producers strategies that have been most successful with the band gaining more fans and attracting their attention are the amount of videos they release of the band performing and using different camera techniques in the videos such as close ups of the band members mostly the guitarist’s and lead singer, and using long shots of the band performing which makes the fans enjoy the

music and seeing the band perform and wanting to go to live performances of the bands, making them make more money because more tickets are sold.
