NOVEMBER / DECEMBER | VO L . 1

BECOME A VOLUNTEER TODAY!What Are the Benefits of Getting Involved?

According to KidsHealth getting involved is a great way

to show your kids that you take an interest in their

education. It also sends a positive message that you

consider school a worthwhile cause. Even if you haven't

been involved in the past, it's never too late to start. In

fact, it may be more important than ever to get

involved when kids reach secondary school.

You can become a volunteer in 3 easy steps!

AISD "Hero Dad" Challenge

This program is designed to promote parental

engagement and volunteerism of fathers and father

figures on campus. We are challenging fathers to

complete seven tasks within an academic school year.

The dads who complete the challenge will be

recognized as Dad Champions. Learn more at

www.aisd.net/dads.
