Congratulations to all of our students and classes who have performed this week at the Upper Hunter Eisteddfod. A huge thanks to our teachers and parents for their organisation over the past few weeks in preparation for the studentsperformances. It is wonderful to see our students performing at a high level. What a fabulous Friday our students participated in for Jump Rope for Heart. All students were engaged in many fun activities and rotations throughout the day. Well done to all students who gained sponsorship and raised $6803 for the Heart Foundation. A special mention to Maelie in 2R who raised over $1300! A magnificent effort! Our Year 6 journalism students have been working hard on their project this term and delivered a brilliant article on AFL in the Hunter. The students have been led by Mr Morris who has a strong passion for writing and it has been great to see the development of our studentsconfidence, interview techniques and writing skills over the past few weeks. The article was downloaded as a feature article on the Chronicle website. Well done to all involved and we look forward to your next piece of journalism.
