Her first voyage from China PR to Paris MoU region, after PSC banning in Italy in 2002.

Italy banning in: 2002 Lifted from banning on: 14.12.2007 (voyage to Port of Szczecin Poland) Inspection carried out on: 19.12.2007 ( Szczecin Poland) Released from detention on: 24.12.2007 Next voyage to: Port of St. Petersburg Russian Fed. After lifting the ship from banning, she was due for a Mandatory Expanded Inspection (MEI). The Mandatory Expanded PSC PMoU Inspection was carried out on 19 December 2007 on partly discharged ship in Szczecin - Poland by two of our PSC Officers. 27 numbers of deficiencies were noticed:

• In her Statutory Certificates we found some wrong entries, a not updated form IOPP Certificate and Oil Record book with improperly entries.

• On the partly corroded deck we found heavily corroded and a holed hatch cover pontoons.

• We also found perished, broken and holed tarpaulins used as a weather cover over hatch pontoons.

• Beams and frames were heavily corroded, cracked and damaged. • During the abandon ship drill it was noticed that the crew were not familiar with

the Muster List. The PS lifeboat was found completely seized in its stowage position. Its launching devices were inoperative. The boat could not be moved.

• Windlass found as “a piece of rust “, completely corroded with a partial damaged foundation.

• Greased moving parts were not found at all. • Mooring rollers seized, corroded: were not movable or greased. • Some of crew sanitary facilities were inoperative.

Ship Safety Management System Major Non Conformity was noticed, the Inspection suspended and detained the ship. Flag State Mongolia and the International Ship Classification in Singapore were informed immediately. All repairing has been carried out under personal supervising. Principal Surveyor of IS Class arrived from Singapore and the owner’s superintendent. Necessary ISM audit has also been carried out. Major NC downgraded to 5 NC. After completion of all necessary supplying and repairing, the ship was lifted from detention on the 4th of December 2007 heading to St. Petersburg – Russian Fed.
