are of the following pattern, although circum- stances of reception
frequently cause consi9erable a l terat ions. I open with a c lear
statement of when I heard the station, on w h a t frequency, type
of program, and where I am located. Then I describe the i r signal
dn de ta i l as to stength, readability, fading, s t a t i c ,
interference, quali ty, and modulation, and anything e l se I might
note tha t would be of interest . I iescr ibe rrgr equipent :
receiver, antenna, ground, and weather conditions. A request f o r
ver i f icat ion i s made, and of fer as proof of my reception log
which then follows, asking th&t it be checked against the s t a
t ion log. In closing. I extend my best a ishes , hoping to hear
