BOISE, IDAHO The PooVault is a holder for smelly dog poop bags, which was developed over the last two years by Jessica Streib, a dog owner in Boise, Idaho, who didn’t want to smell her dog’s poop for every minute of every walk, especially while her son took piano lessons in a neighborhood where all the trash cans were in garages and behind fences, nor leave a bag on the side of the road. Being a responsible dog owner was all about finding a trash and hoping the walk would be over quickly. CDL Now, LLC aka Conspicuous-Dog-Lover is the company behind the PooVault. It is based in Boise, Idaho with Jessica Streib as sole proprietor/manager. Jessica is a MBA candidate, marketing contractor, wife, mom and dog owner. The idea started in July of 2015, but took several failed prototypes and the eventual validation that dog owners who walk their dogs do not like the odor nor carrying poop filled bags. In 2016, the final iteration was ready for injection molding, holding in smells, being affordable, attractive, having a strong latch, made from #2 HDPE which is recyclable everywhere and made in the U.S.A.
