Methodology

©Harris/Decima 2

•This research was conducted over the telephone with a total of 503 randomly chosen

residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.

•CATI phone interviews were done between April 26th and May 5th, 2013.

•The results are considered accurate to within +/- 4.4% 19 times out of 20.

•The data was gathered using random sampling techniques and then weighted to match

the demographic characteristics of the general population. The table below summarizes

these demographic characteristics, and provides their proportions before and afterweighting:

Gender Unweighted (%) Weighted (%) Urban/Rural Unweighted (%) Weighted (%)
