Sir,This has reference to the letter mentioned at SI. No. (i) above vide which your good office has requested

to deposit the due amount against the security provided by State Government at Padma Camp for the period

June' 2012 to December' 2014 i.e. Rs. 1,21,19,760.00 (31 months@Rs. 3,90,960.00 per month).

In this connection, it is to bring to your kind notice that after Moist Attack at construction camp of Mis G.

R. Infra located at Morangi in Hazaribag District on 14.05.2011. Concessionaire of HazaJ"ibag-Ranchi Section of

NH-33 i.e. Mis Hazaribag Ranchi Expressways Ltd & Concessionaire of Barhi-Hazaribag Section of NH-33, Mis

Abhijeet Hazaribag Toll Road Ltd had requested to provide security arrangement for their construction camp at

Morangi & Padma respectively.

Mis Abihijeet Hazaribag Toll Road Ltd-Concessionaire of Barhi-Hazaribag Section of NH-33 had

requested this office vide letter mentioned at SI. No. (ii) above to make necessary arrangement for full safety

protection of their Construction Camp situated at Padma in Hazaribag District. Accordingly, this office had taken

up the matter with State Administration to provide adequate security to projects camps, working sites, project

equipment and man power etc to ensure fearless and peaceful working at site to ensure timely completion of

project. Accordingly, DIG, Operation, Jharkhand-Ranchi vide letter no. 853/Abhiyan dated 07.06.2011 had

. issued an order for deployment of half - half battalion of Jharkhand Armed Police at construction camps of

Morangi & Padma on payment basis.

Since deployment of Security Personnel at Padma construction camp, Mis Abhjeet Hazaribag Toll Road

the said Police Protection was provided to the Concessionaire on their request only. Since June 2012, they have.not deposited requisite charges to be paid for security service availed by them.

In this context, it is necessary to bring to your kind notice that this office vide various letters mentioned at

SI. No. (iii) to (xi) above had been requesting Concessionaire, MIs Abhijeet Hazaribagh Toll Road Ltd to deposit

the due amount against services of security personnel availed for security purpose of Padma Camp on their

request, copy of which was also given to all concerned including your goodself for information. However, no

response from MIs Abhijeet Hazaribag Toll Road Ltd has been received by this office till date. It is also to

intimate that Concession Agreement between NHAI & MIs Abhijeet Hazaribag Toll Road Ltd is now stands

terminated as informed by NHAI-HQ vide letter no. NHAI/BOT/11 019112/2013/60354 dated 01.01.2015.

In view of above, needful action (including legal recourse, if required) may please be taken against MIs

Abijeet Hazaribag Toll Road Ltd to recover the due amount for the security services availed by them for security

of Padma Camp as none of the efforts made by NHA! in this direction bore any result.
