National Nutritionweek 2017-18 , 1 st September to 7 th Sepember RHTC,Sudumbare National Nutrition Week is observed in order to make the people get knowledge about the Nutrition and its Importance for the Human Body. It is used to celebrate from the 1st of September to the 7th of September to make the people focus on the Nutrition for their better Health. This year the week is celebrated in adopted are of RHTC, Sudumbare. 01/09/2017: First day of NUTRITION WEEK 2017, was celebrated at RHTC Sudhumnbre on 01/09/2017 atJilha Parishad School, Sudumbre. Students from 1st to 7th Std were present. Information regarding importance of balanced diet was given. Demonstration of various foodArticle like pulses, jaggery, Wheat was given and their importance was highlighted. Students were also informed about healthhazards of Junk Food. They were also told about basic food sanitation practices. There was good cooperation from teachers of the school. Dr. S.J.Kulkarni, Dr. Rupali Verma , Dr. S. Kale along with Interns and RHTC Staff carried out this programme .

National Nutritionweek 2017-18 , 1st September to 7thSepember RHTC,Sudumbare

National Nutrition Week is observed in order to make the people get knowledge about the Nutrition and its Importance for the Human Body. It is used to celebrate from the 1st of September to the 7th of September to make the people focus on the Nutrition for their better Health. This year the week is celebrated in adopted are of RHTC, Sudumbare.

01/09/2017:

First day of NUTRITION WEEK 2017, was celebrated at RHTC Sudhumnbre on 01/09/2017 atJilha Parishad School, Sudumbre. Students from 1st to 7th Std were present. Information regarding importance of balanced diet was given. Demonstration of various foodArticle like pulses, jaggery, Wheat was given and their importance was highlighted. Students were also informed about healthhazards of Junk Food. They were also told about basic food sanitation practices. There was good cooperation from teachers of the school. Dr. S.J.Kulkarni, Dr. Rupali Verma , Dr. S. Kale along with Interns and RHTC Staff carried out this programme .

04/09/2017:

On this day nutrition demonstration programme was arranged for adolescent girl students of SantTukaram School, Sudumbare. Information regarding balanced diet, nutritive values of common Indian foods was given with demonstrations. Special focus was on Iron rich food sources.Speeches were given DrMadhuraAshturkar, Dr kale and Interns from RHTC. About 120 girl students were present for this programme.

06/09/2017:

On this day nutrition demonstration programme was arranged for pregnant and lactating mothers in NDRF campus at Ganeshnagar. Information regarding diet in pregnancy, lactation period was given. Importance of additional calories in diet for development of foetus and new born baby during these conditions was highlighted. Speeches were given by DrVaishali, Drkale and Interns. About 25 women attended this programme.

07/09/2017:

On this day nutrition demonstration programme was arranged for elderly people. Information regarding balanced diet, dietary modifications in diseases like Diabetes, hypertension, Osteomyelitis was given. Health check up all elderly people was also carried out. Specches were given by DrKale and interns.
