The 8-foot-wide trail located within this open space travels through open grassland habitat offering multiple access points throughout The Meadows neighborhoods. The trail connects to Butterfield Park in the north and Paintbrush Park on the south end with additional connections to The Grange (private pool and arts center for Meadows residents) and Taft House (private recreation center for Meadows residents), as well as the Ridgeline trail sytem and East Plum Creek Trail. In addition to an outdoor classroom and scenic overlooks of the Rocky Mountains, there are five stone monuments created in collaboration with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to provide education about the area's pre-historic environment.
