Why I like NCD…
*It gives the church an objective view of where they are currently at. Reality can be faced!
*The principles are solidly grounded in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.
*It gives a church hope. There is something practical they can do to improve their church!
* Our emphases on health ministry as a church makes NCD easy to comprehend and apply.
Why I like NCD…
*It is not a 1x program. Used properly, it becomes part of the life of the church.
*The natural end result is a church that more effectively reaches the harvest AND multiplies daughter churches!
*Healthy churches find success in retaining new members who join through evangelistic meetings.

If the church does ANYTHING to address their minimum factor, improvements will be seen in the church. If 3 or 4 strategic initiatives in the minimum factor area are implemented the difference will be SIGNIFICANT!

CASE STUDY Once upon a time in 1994 Two cradle Adventist (Jack & Jill) started their first bible study with 4 employees including the office manager. This was a "mixed" multitude that increased to 20 people. By month 5 of the studies all came for a "visit" to the one SDA church in the area. Population 350,000 Pastor’s wife also worked for Jack & Jill. The wife often made public, negative, character demeaning, comments about the office manager. The wife was rotated to different positions throughout the office in an effort to find a "fit" For her. Efforts were made to work with the pastor to calm the situation - he sided with his wife in front of office manager. Pastor’s wife was fired. During this time Jack & Jill were invited to join a mission trip by conference president. The trip was healthy and a relationship grew between conf pres and Jack & Jill. Conf pres took a personal interest in the bible study and became a great encourager by frequent phone calls. Soon the office manager made her first visit to the local SDA church - tears fell as she battled between relationship and her new found faith. After visit 3 she said, "I can't do church, but would like to keep coming to bible study." The next time conf press called, Jack & Jill brought him up to date with the bible study- his comment "Jack n Jill, you need to plant a church." with four children under the age of 10 and a large business, they knew they couldn't plant and said
