Elementary Summer School
This week the annual inter-department summer school planning meeting took place. The leaders in the
Elementary Curriculum (Math, Reading and Bilingual departments) joined with Planning Services,
Transportation, and Information Services and Applications staff to organize and plan Elementary Summer
School. Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Elementary Summer School is a huge undertaking and requires much
organization, coordination, and timeliness for all involved.

This week brought a major accomplishment to fruition.
The new database server has been installed and is now
being used for the eSchoolPLUS 4.0 training and testing
environment. This is one hurdle that is good to jump
and put in the past. Now to move on to completion of
the remaining system features before ‘go-live’.
