Classroom in the Spotlight
Ms. Keller’s Class
When we walked in to Ms. Keller’s class the
students were having free time, then they had
to start cleaning up. I introduced myself and
asked them questions. Sixteen of them have a
brother or sister in our school. Twelve of
them know there a, b, c, letters. Some of her
students like to learn letters other ones like
centers. At their Valentine’s party they are
going to have Cupcakes and Valentines. When
we were talking they were very respectful,
they didn’t talk when we were talking and they
raised there hands to answer a questions.
We Challenge You!
News Team
Hi my name is Jaelyn Williams I am on the NBE News Team. The reason I wanted to be in this club is because…well My Mom She works at HCDE and she helps people get jobs but not any kind of job, teaching jobs and 1 day of every month she has Policy Council . She teaches me how to write reports, stories, and do interviews and how to do presentations. And once I got the hang of it she start let me interview her for other things, like when she made something new for dinner I would write down the recipe and
ask her what made her try a new meal ☺. So when I saw the club paper I was so happy and when I applied I got to be in and I Was overwhelmed. My News Teacher Ms.Elliot she said that I was so Fantastic. *Fantastico* On the News Team we do posters, Interviews, We Broadcast and we do stories on the computer mostly. And it’s always Teamwork. The people who can be in the club you have be either (A honor role) or (B honor role) or (A-B honor role) not just anybody can be in the group.

Ms. Lee
My commitment is to be helpful. Sometimes being helpful is to
show them you care, or helping them with their problems. I like
connecting with kids. Sometimes I try to sneak in reading,
because when you read, you could learn a lot of things.
Ms. Morris
I promise to do my very best
everyday all day more than 101%. I
would always put kids first.
Ms. Martinez
I am committed to bring all the
resources to empower our teachers,
our students, and parents so they
could be successful in this academic
journey. For example, I’m looking for
resources to enhance service learning
for our students. I’m also providing
powerful parent trainings that will
impact them in a meaningful way.
Mrs. Davies
I am committed to making sure
there is an effective teacher in
every classroom and that all
students are learning. Also, to be
sure that students are attending
school on time and are excited to
learn.
Mrs. Thompson
I am committed to communicating clearly
and working with all teachers and students.
BOOK FAIR!
We talked about the fundraiser for other schools. We’re saving up money for books. We asked questions. News Team: How do you feel about raising money for other schools?
Ms. Living: It’s really cool every dollar equals one book for others in need. NT: About how many books do you want to raise?
ML: The goal is $4,000 in book fair; I’d like to raise $300 or more in donations.
We think it’s good for Ms. Living to raise money for other schools to get books! Here are some fun facts
Company’s name is Scholastic. The teachers get to use their money for there classroom library.
There are 35 classes raising money.
