Avaya/Nortel IP DECT can be upgraded to work with NEC AP400 AP’s
The upgraded system can be expanded with new AP400 as well as with new handsets
The upgraded system is compatible with both CS1000 as well as prepared for a future swap to another communication server (Avaya Aura, IPO or an NEC server)Note; note that in the latter case all AP must be changed to NEC AP400
▌TDM DECT configurations
The handsets representing a large part of the value of the system can be re-used in an upgrade to NEC IP DECT

Handset generic strengths
▌All use the same desk and rack chargers
Chargers also charge an additional battery (both G266/566 model as well as the G966)
Handsets can also be charged with a standard micro-USB interface on the handset
▌Reduced operational effort
Through the support of standard micro-SD cards within the handsets. If a handset is damaged, just replace the handset with a new one and insert the SD-card of the damaged handset. There is no new enrollment needed for the new handset at all
▌Handset firmware can be updates over the air
In groups and by means of scheduling
