HOLIDAY PROGRAMME DETAILS AUT Millennium provides an environment where children can learn, take part in something challenging and be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment upon completion of activities within a structured programme. AUT Millennium Holiday Programme is for children aged between 5–13 years An active programme which encourages children to ‘Be the best you can be’. Strive to challenge your children to try ‘something new’ every day! Register at Reception early as space is limited. Remember Drop off Please make sure your child arrives no later than 8.30 am. If your child is not here by 8.45 am we will offer their place to those on the waiting list. After 3.00 pm late charges of $15.00 per 15 min apply.

SIGN IN / OUT – Please ensure you sign your child in and out with the head instructor, not at reception.

Week 1

Wednesday 3 Jan Summer Breeze Kick start the summer holidays with Frisbee Golf, Dodgeball and Hockey! We’ll also get creative with arts and crafts before finishing with an epic afternoon swim. Remember to bring your togs!

Thursday 4 Jan Italiano* Join the Head chef at Pane & Vino Italian restaurant to learn about the history of pizza before preparing and cooking authentic pizza’s from scratch. Includes ice cream and a fun afternoon swim!

Friday 5 Jan Summer Smoothies

Design and make your own new delicious summer smoothie. Finish the week with a game of T-ball and Multisport before having a splash in the pool!

Week 2

Monday 8 Jan Queens Garden Party

A day in the life of a Royal. Play Cricket, Croquet and Boules on the green before baking scones with jam! We’ll finish with a dip in the pool.

Tuesday 9 Jan Survivor SkillsHave a day full of adventure with Archery (Rocket launches for under 7’s) and catapult launching. How quickly can you put up a tent and learn lifejacket survival skills. Have fun making some crafty leaf creations. Please wear closed shoes.

Wednesday 10 Jan Rockwall Scale the Rockwall at AUT Millennium and have fun playing Lacrosse and Team Athletics with new friends! Bring your togs for a great afternoon swim.

Thursday 11 Jan North Head Exploration*

Join us for a day of adventure and exploration through hidden tunnels at North Head. We’ll finish the day with a big swim and fun games!

Friday 12 Jan New Year Challenge

Start the New Year off by creating your very own 2018 Calendar. Then take on our obstacle course challenge and Nukemball. Finish the day with an epic swim.

Week 3

Monday 15 Jan North Harbour Badminton*

Join us for a trip to North Harbour Badminton and learn how to play like a pro! Don’t forget your togs for an afternoon swim.

Tuesday 16 Jan Around the WorldExperience a taste of Europe by baking your own treats, get creative with Asian inspired crafts, participate in athletics like the Jamaicans, and have a go at American Basketball and T-ball. Bring your togs for an afternoon play in the pool!

Wednesday 17 Jan Old Fashioned Sports Day

Join a team, choose your colours and make your flags to use in our sports day! Egg and Spoon, Wheelbarrow races, Obstacle course, Relays, 3 legged race. Which team will be the Champions?? Cool off in the pool.

Thursday 18 Jan North Harbour Hockey*

Spend the day at North Harbour Hockey club learning lots of new skills and tricks before testing them out in the hockey tournament!

Friday 19 Jan Inflatable Water Fun

Have you got what it takes to get across our inflatable without making a splash?? Have lots of fun playing Turbo Touch, Balloon Games and the Parachute.

Week 4

Monday 22 Jan Cool Grooves Show us your cool moves with Dance Hip Hop fitness before teaming up for a music quiz! Work together in our sheep and shepherds challenge and don’t forget your togs!!

Tuesday 23 Jan Sweet Tooth* Take a trip to the Old Lolly Shop. Learn how lollipops are made before creating your own! Spend the afternoon at the beach for soccer, cricket and sandcastle competitions.

Wednesday 24 Jan Doggy DayCome meet Jelly the friendly rescue dog and learn about Dog Safety. Play Ultimate Frisbee, swim in the pool and enjoy a visit from the police dogs. Note: Police dogs visit is conditional to an emergency call out.

Thursday 25 Jan Kayaking Learn the skills of Kayaking, create a water collage inspired by Henry Matisse and have a game of Rippa Rugby before exciting track relays!

Friday 26 Jan It’s a Party Join us for a huge back to school party! We’ll have games galore, super swimming and an AUT Millennium big screen movie experience.
