BS MID/Not Designated as SPACE: ARROW. Split OT +3. Goal is to attract flat defenders attention and get him to run with you; technique is a bitdifferent than basic 1 in that you are emphasizing WIDTH more than DEPTH. Take one 45 step, aim at a point 3 yds deep along the sideline. Snap yourhead around on your 3rd step out of the break without slowing down. Do NOT turn up sidelines; if you get past the bottom of the #s, turn inside, shownumbers to the QB. R.A.C. Get the sideline!
QB: Drop depends on the Individual. Pre-snap CB play on top, Prem / non-premium on the edges. Hand signal if needed to get the correct individual(MUST have 199 v. Cloud; 198 v. Press). PREM: 1ststep Keep it premium eyes past MLBProgression Individual to Sit to Mini to Arrow/Swing.NON-PREM: Track individual on 1ststepProgression Sit to Mini to Arrow/Swing. Reset for depth to the backside (can quick 5 non-premium), find EYES.
Possible Quick escape to Arrow.

BS MID: DEEP HITCH with FREEDOM. Split way +1. Goal is to be in the fat of the Zone at 8-10 yards with EYES when QB looks for you. Take bestavailable release, re-stack in your tube, and run a Hitch at 9-10 yards. Seize whatever spot is given you, present yourself to the QB.
QB: This is a Category B call, meaning our preference is to work backside unless we have a gimme frontside. Individual is pre-snap Yes/No. Drop is5 quick / 3 quick, initial Eyes are to the POINT, to place him on the Drag, read is the shoulders of the Hang, Deep Hitch to Swing. Stop & Go not a factor.

BS OUTS: STOP & GO. Normal Split. Idea behind this route is to get the CB to break, react, and be turning his back to run with you right as RB gets theball. Sell the stop, but start the Fade phase at 7, shorten the 3+2 to just 3, make a fast pivot, just enough to get turned, and get right back out of it.Accelerating to CBs outside hip. Sprint, but look back as though youre getting ball as you sprint along red line. Block CB once ball is caught.

RB: ARROW or SWING. You have a Swing if in the backfield; an Arrow if in any S position (Stud-Slug, Smart-Slim, etc) or in motion. Protection call willdictate your protection responsibilities, if any, prior to releasing. SWING should be a speed-skater step & a 6-step SPRINT, losing no depth, and youshould turn up just past outside receivers original spot. foot in the ground with no chop, nodding outside as you do, and break cleanly, at full speed. FS INS: ARROW. Split 1/2way +1. Goal is to attract flat defenders attention and get him to run with you; technique is a bit different than basic Curl inthat you are emphasizing WIDTH more than DEPTH. Take one 45 step, then accelerate toward a point 3 yds deep along the sideline, snapping your headaround on your 3rd step out of the break without slowing down. If you get to the bottom of the numbers, flip your hips, show your #s.

FS OUTS: MINI CURL. You want to get the feeling of running a semi-circle around the flat defender and getting into the window inside him before
he can react. For that reason, cut your split to Top #s (Hash). Use same components of Curl route, just shorter: Sprint to 4-5, Speed break to 7, Drumrollredirect back to QB at 7 after burst/lunge. Take an angle that gets you INSIDE the flat defender, INTO the window, then come back THROUGH it. Ballshould be waiting on you. Make a 180 spin after catch, split the zone North & South.

Basic thought process is that the ball goes to the Bush on a 1-ball/backshoulder now if the Point doesnt take a direct path to cover him. If Hangs direct path to cover involves opening his shoulders, BANG the back shoulderof the Diagonal on the anchor; if the Hangs path runs underneath the Diagonal, 3-ball the Bush over top. A squared, Cloud CB is danger to the Bush; thePoint LB is danger to the Diagonal. RFD Sit-Mini-Arrow.

FS OUTS: DIAGONAL. Split is TIGHT (Possibly minimum) Aim your route at the upfield shoulder of the first LB inside you. Anticipate a moving target;your angle to this target should end up about 60 or so. If Hang gets width & opens past you, look for the ball, on the run, on your back shoulder, NOW.
RB / FS INS: BUSH. From RB position, cheat up to 4 yards, outside leg of tackle. Split for a slot receiver is way. Initial aiming point is right off the
hip of the Diagonal. RB will attack at top speed to get there; Slot will footfire in place 3 times to set it up before getting there. The moment you feelyourself not being covered on this course, look for the ball FAST on your back shoulder. QB: Two ways to read it, once you understand the basics of the 97-197 concept. Generally, will read & drop exactly like 97-197, Progressing Quick Postto Spacing v. MOFO (BS Saf awareness), keying CB for Quick Corner (sits) or Dodge (retreats) to Spacing. As a ball-control thought, however, or v. bad
looks for the Cop (Cover 3), progress Dodge to RFD Spacingin this case, use Quick 3/Quick 5 footwork, make Moon call BS.
FS OUTS: DODGE. From an Inside +4 split, the idea is to briefly size up what the CB is doing, than choose the best route to beat him. If not in motion,we would prefer to Ron or Lou your alignment (communicate with inside receiver). Pause slightly off LOS, and watch CB. If he sits & looks at you,assume man coverage, Arc to his outside hip, run a miniature Flat route at 4 yds with same technique as on 4 route. If he gains depth & width, Spray to aminiature Smash, working to a spot 4 yards deep x 2 outside your original alignment.

that you are emphasizing WIDTH more than DEPTH. Take one 45 step, then accelerate almost flat to the sideline, snapping your head around on your3rd step out of the break without slowing down. Can turn up once 5 yds from the sidelines if you dont have the ball and theres no Quick Corner in thedeep sandbox.

Split way (OT+5-6 if on 3 rec side) Your job is to take hash safeties in a 2-safety look off the hash & pry themiddle open; v. 1 safety, the goal is to stretch the single safety horizontally so he cant cover you both.
