1. Introduction Golf SV extends the VW product portfolio in an ever growing segment – the A segment – with the addition of an important and progressive model range.
2. Dimensions Golf SV retains all the product credentials of the seventh generation Golf whilst differentiating itself by offering customers the benefit of additional space. Golf SV is 85mm longer, 23mm wider and 126mm higher than the current Golf 7. The 20mm shorter front overhang highlights the dynamic presence of Golf SV, whilst the rear overhang has been lengthened by 47mm resulting in increased boot space.
3. Exterior Dynamic front end- The new and sharply designed styling gives the Golf SV an independent and sophisticated look. The precise lines and prominent character of the front grille form the basis of the cars’ dynamic yet elegant front end look. The generously sized windows all-around allow for optimal visibility, as well as optimised natural light within the vehicle.

Aerodynamic rear end- The generously sized glass surfaces are evident via the wide rear windscreen. The top of the window is framed by the roof spoiler which has air guide elements worked into its sides. Under the window are two-part taillights that are shaped to form aerodynamic trailing edges that connect with the sporty character lines seen on the vehicle’s side.
4. Interior The dominant element in the interior is the newly designed dashboard. Golf drivers will find the seat trim, instrument cluster, touchscreen radio and controls familiar. Yet these elements are embedded in a surrounding comprising of a uniquely developed dashboard and door panels.

5. Drive Train Golf SV will be available in Trendline and Comfortline specification. The engine and gearbox combinations offer improved performance. An effort to meet customer demands sees the introduction of the 2.0TDI 81kW DSG, an engine and gearbox combination that has been very successful on Touran.
All five Golf SV models will be available at the launch in May 2015. Please note that the pricing reflected is purely indicative. It is advised that you manage your customer expectations in this regard.

Safety
Pre-Crash is a proactive safety system that identifies the possibility of an accident and automatically closes the windows and sunroof. It also tensions the front seat belts as a precautionary measure
Natural light
In line with the windows, Golf SV also offers a generously sized panoramic sunroof that both tilts and slides to allow for optimal natural light. Optional on Comfortline
Space
The already large 500L boot space can be extended to 590L when you slide the rear seats forwards. When folded down, boot space increases to 1 520L
