There was a variety of gracefully choreographed dances, like the Garba, Raasheela, Shiva Thandav, Kali dance, Contemporary and Bollywood. The stage set – up for each temple coupled with the beautiful and apt costumes took one and all, back in time to the age of mythology. Each image displayed on the LED screen was a visual treat. It was indeed a true blend of technology with mythology. Whether, it was the children confidently mouthing out dialogues or children dancing to the beat of every song, i t truly seemed like heaven had descended on earth. After the boring yet the necessary safety briefing, everybody sprinted off to the land rides. As per tradition, of course, we went to the scariest ride first – the terrifying, maggot ride of doom – the Termite Coaster. A few hair raising bends and high speed hills later, we were out, definitely lacking a few organs. Then came the less amusing thrill rides; the Maverick – the ride designed to make you throw up; the Mixer – the self explanatory giant blender; the Hurricane - the three bladed fan that turns you green; and of course, Insanity – the eight armed robot that makes you wonder what in God's name the creators of Wonder La were thinking. Wonder La's newest ride and India's first reversing roller coaster takes you through two loops at 80 kmph, only to be done again, in reverse. It was an extremely fun ride. Wonder La's vast number of slides and pools are a treat for everyone. Up Hill Racers, Cornetto and other weirdly named slides leave your stomach in your mouth.     The students of New Horizon Public School from Std I to V were treated to a trip to Fun World. The children looked forward to a day of fun and frolic. On

    reaching Fun World, they were very happy and filled with a lot of energy. They were escorted by their teachers to a variety of rides. The screams and

    laughter of the children as they went on the various rides filled the air.

    NHPS High School boys team secured the 3 position in the 2 National Youth rd nd

    Basketball Championship U – 17 held at Jayanagar. This was conducted by BIG 7 – Events and Entertainment Group.

    The students of New Horizon Public School participated in the

    Vagdevi Vilas Inter School Athletics Competition and won 8 Gold, 8 Silver

    and 16 Bronze medals.

    Students of Std I (Boys) won the Bronze medal in 75 mts relay and the students of Std IV (Boys) won the Bronze medal in the 4 x 75 mts relay at the St. Joseph’s Inter School Athletics Competition.

    NHPS High school boys were in the Vagdevi Vilas Inter School Winners

    Basketball Tournament held at Marathahalli on the 4 and 5 of November, 2016.th thNHPS High school boys were in the Taluk Basketball Championship Champions

    conducted by the Department of Public Instructions at Indus Valley PU College th thon the 4 and 5 of August, 2016.

    The students of New Horizon Public School participated in the

    Seniors and Sub Juniors Chess Competition conducted at st ndVagdevi Vilas School and won the 1 and 2 prize.

    Rishab won a Silver medal in 3000 mts at the district level inter school athletics meet.

    Nidhi and Nishanth of Std VIII won the third position in the table tennis inter school competition for Juniors conducted by Vagdevi Vilas School.

    Swastikaa won a Bronze medal in 200 mts and Rishab won a Gold medal in 3000 mts at the Taluk level Athletics meet.

    NHPS High School girls secured the Runner Up position in the Taluk

    Basketball Championship held at the Department of Public Instructions th that Indus Valley PU College on the 4 and 5 of August, 2016.
