BLAST WHEELS Pangborn Corp. announced the release of its innovative Genesisfam- ily of wheels. The Genesis family of wheels offers high performance, bet- ter cleaning, and significantly lowers operating costs. The Genesis line includes high-speed, 14-18" diameter wheels with either single or double- sided runner heads. The low-speed, 19.5-26.5" diameter wheels provide reduced consumption of abrasives, better cleaning, and lower horsepower requirements. Pangborn's new Genesis blast wheels offer major improvements over traditional blast wheels, the company said. For more information, call (800) 638-3000 or visit www.pangborn.corn. This additional path allows the process fluid, or air, to cool the bushing of the impeller from the outside, while continuing to offer the internal spiral cooling channel found on most magnetic- drive centrifugal pumps. This unique heat-dissipation technology prevents the heat build-up that so often dam- ages or completely disables the shaft bushing.
