The GN2010D is an integrated bi-directional CDR, DFB/FP laser driver and limiting amplifier for XFP & SFP+ SONET, 10GBase-LR ethernet and 8.5Gb/s fibre channel applications. It is a highly-integrated, low-power, small-footprint device, that is ideal for small form factor optical modules. The transmit path consists of optional input equalization, a multi-rate Tx CDR, and a DML/EML laser driver. The receive path is comprised of a limiting amplifier with programmable equalization, a multi-rate Rx CDR, and output de-emphasis. Both transmit and receive directions offer highly configurable eye shaping features, which allow for optimal electrical and optical outputs. Both directions also offer the option for polarity-invert, loopback, output mute, and programmable output equalization. The GN2010D is an integrated bi-directional CDR, DFB/FP laser driver and limiting amplifier for XFP & SFP+ SONET, 10GBase-LR ethernet and 8.5Gb/s fibre channel applications.

It is a highly-integrated, low-power, small-footprint device, that is ideal for small form factor optical modules.

The transmit path consists of optional input equalization, a multi-rate Tx CDR, and a DML/EML laser driver. The receive path is comprised of a limiting amplifier with programmable equalization, a multi-rate Rx CDR, and output de-emphasis. Both transmit and receive directions offer highly configurable eye shaping features, which allow for optimal electrical and optical outputs. Both directions also offer the option for polarity-invert, loopback, output mute, and programmable output equalization.

The GN7355 is Gennum’s 2nd generation 10G EPON transceiver chip designed specifically for the ONU (Optical Network Unit). The GN7355 builds on the 1st generation platform (GN7350) and includes performance enhancements and new features that are designed to lower both overall power and cost of the module.

Through re-timing the high speed signal, the CDR within the GN7355 ensures highest link margin and lowest jitter signal. This provides much needed margin on the IEEE P802.3av 10G EPON standard, simplifies the module design, and enables interoperability with different MAC (Media Access Control) vendors. Gennum’s long-standing leadership in CDR technology allows for easy integration of this functionality into the chip, while still meeting the cost structure and low power consumption that PON systems demand.

The GN3050 long wave ROSA solution is a single mode fiber solution, supporting up to 10 kilometers, which conforms to the SONET OC192 SR-1 specification and the 10GbE LR specification.

With an operating wavelength of 1310 nanometers, the GN3050 achieves an industry-leading stress sensitivity of -21 dBm with an overload of +0.5 dBm and a gain of 10 kOhm. The advanced Rchip architecture provides the GN3050 with exceptional crosstalk performance to optimize sensitivity in real-world module applications.

The SC220 is a 20MHz X-EMI™(1)-enabled step-down regulator optimized for powering low voltage rails from 2.7 to 5.5V input voltage. X-EMI™ inductor technology enables inductors to be drawn directly on the PC board. This technology meets or exceeds the EMI performance of chip inductors and eliminates the need for discrete inductors.

The SC5014/A is a 4-channel, highly integrated, high-efficiency step-up (boost) HB LED driver designed to reduce the thickness of mid-size LCD displays. It exhibits 2% to 4% higher efficiency when using the same size inductors as existing LED drivers. But, unlike existing devices, it can also operate with inductors that are up to 10x smaller without sacrificing efficiency. This part can also use very low-profile inductors (as small as 2.2μH, 1mm height), which allows LED drivers to be built directly into the LCD panel to enable ultra-thin displays.

The µClamp® 2804L TVS array is specifically designed to meet the performance require-ments of Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. RClamp® 0544TCircuit ProtectionUltra Low Capacitance TVS Arrays

The RClamp® 0544T has a typical capacitance of only 0.30pF between I/O pins. This allows it to be used on circuits operating in excess of 3GHz without signal attenuation. They may be used to meet the ESD immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-2. Each device is designed to protect four lines (two differential pairs). The RClamp0544T is in an 8-pin SLP2010P8T package. It measures 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.4mm. The leads are spaced at a pitch of 0.4mm and are finished with lead-free NiPdAu. They are designed for easy PCB layout by allowing the traces to run straight through the device.
