Nacimos en la última semana del 2007 conel objetivo de consolidarnos como una em-presa de alta tecnología en el sector Aero-
espacial y lo hemos conseguido.Durante todo el año 2008 fuimos superando todosnuestros retos. Nos enfrentamos a la construcciónde un nuevo edificio que albergará la planta de pro-ducción desde sus cimientos, con todas sus instala-ciones, hecha a medida para el producto que íbamosa fabricar: tuberías y conjuntos soldados en alu-minio, acero inoxidable y titanio.
Desmontamos, traslada-mos, instalamos y pusi-mos en marcha todas lasmáquinas e instalacionesproductivas para poder
fabricar nuestros productos. Tuvimos que implantar todos los sistemas de Ges-tión, Ingeniería, Compras, Producción, Calidad.Todo nuestro equipo tuvo que estar desplazado enSevilla para realizar su periodo de formación bajo latutela de AIRBUS Military durante más de seismeses.Superamos todos los exámenes exigidos por el
sector parac e r t i f i c a r s ecomo opera-rios autoriza-dos para laelaboración depiezas Aeroes-paciales.Nos certificamos en ISO9001 y EN9100 conuna puntuación record del 93.75%. We were born the last week of 2007 withthe aim of consolidating as a high-techcompany in the aerospace sector; and we
succeeded. Throughout the year 2008 we overcameall of our challenges. We were faced with the cons-truction of a new building from the very foundationsto house the production facility, with allits installations, tailor-made for the pro-duct we were going to make: piping andweldedaluminium, stainless steel andtitanium assemblies.We dismantled, moved, installed andset off all machines and production fa-cilities in order to be able to manufacture our pro-ducts. We had to implement the Management,Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Qualitysystems.All our team had to be moved to Seville for a trainingperiod under the tutelage of Airbus Military for morethan six months.
Our entire team passed all the tests required by thesector for them to become certified for the manufac-turing of aerospace parts. We are ISO9001 and EN9100 certified with a scoreof 93.75%. Furthermore, all our processes were cer-tified by the international body PRI NADCAP which
allows us to mount our pieces on anyaircraft worldwide. A year ago we officially opened our fa-cilities and throughout 2010 we haveestablished ourselves as a leadingcompany and a benchmark in the ae-rospace sector, becoming the company

¿Cuales son tús proyectos futuros ycual es el que más te entusiasma?Volver al crisol de la imaginación, su-mergirme otra vez en el océano del arteen sus vertientes mas sinceras, la cre-ación por sentimiento. Colaboraremosen varias muestras comisariadas pornosotros, y una de ellas me tiene fasci-nado, la artista Ana Lentsch, que hacreado unos cuadros donde la músicaconvierte el tono etéreo en forma plás-tica, lo cual es una manera didáctica deintroduccir la magia en niños, jóvenes yno tanto.Me gustaría compartir mi reflexión es-tética con los lectores una revista paratécnicos como la vuestra.
¿Qué opinas de nuestra colaboraciónconjunta?Hace años colaboraba con la Funda-ción Bacardí en Miami y pude visitartambién la Fundación Peter Stuyvesanten Londres. Lo interesante de esta ex-periencia estaba en las factorías de am-bas empresas, pues los cuadros y es-
juventud tuve la oportunidad de estu-diar con cariño la obra de este artista,mas tarde tropecé con Modigliani, y¡Hoooo maravilla!, encontré una rela-ción entre las obras del maestro cre-tense y de mi querido Dodi. El idiomaestético de ambos se encontraba enuna sintonia perfecta y a una distanciade más de 200 años. ¿Cómo puedeser?. Esa fue la clave que llamó mi cu-riosidad, pero mi imprudencia olvidóque el arte, una vez te absorbe, reclamatoda la complicidad entre el autor y elespectador; si no es así, no es arte, esartesania. Entonces eres hombre ven-cido, el arte vuelve a ganar. Descubresque el sentimiento, particularidad eté-rea, admite todas las formas y descrip-ciones imaginables.
¿Cuales son tus aficiones en tu tiempolibre?Disfruto estudiando a mis maestros,Rambám, Spinoza, Abulafia, Bubber,Sholem, y me transporta un tratado fan-tástico, irrepetible,“El Tania”, del RabSneur Zalman de Liadi. Me llena la música barroca, viajar en eltiempo al compás de los Vivaldi, Bach,Albinoni, etc. Y naturalmente la inmer-sión en mis cuadros. Descubrir dondeestá escondida el alma del artista esuna aventura sin parangón alguno. Creoque es mi gran pasión.Y, para soltar adrenalina, me gusta mu-cho el fútbol, que practiqué durantetantos años �

Iwould like you to briefly introduceyourself. As you know, mankind hasthe unconscious quality to show his
virtues and hiding its defects. Havingsaid so, and with all humility I will tellyou that I am in love with art in its fullexpression, and I am a believer in Hu-manities with some reserves. Culture isthe civilizations survival; beyond that,nothing exists.
What is your future project and whichis the one you are more excitedabout?Returning to the crucible of imagina-tion, submerging again in the oceans ofthe art in its more sincere aspects, cre-ating by feelings. We will collaborate ina number of samples superintendedby ourselves, one of which has drawnmy fascination… the artist Ana Lentschhas created a series of pictures wherethe music converts the ethereal tone ina plastic form in a manner that it be-comes a didactic introduction to themagic for children, youngsters and thenot so young ones. We will share againour aesthetic thoughts with the rea-ders in plastic research technical jour-nals like yours.What do you think about our joint co-llaboration?Years ago I collaborated with the Bar-cardi Fundation in Miami and I couldalso visit the Peter Stuyvesant Funda-tion in London. The interesting thing ofthat experience was both companies’factories; pictures and sculptureseverywhere, filling the walls and an-gles, the shared space with the emplo-yees.What is extraordinary is that the art-works transmitted such a wonderful

When I visited your office I was im-pressed for your passion for art.Where was it borne?Curiosity is a particularity of humanbeing and paraphrasing the poet Fa-cundo Cabral when he said “curiosity,between blessed and rude, either ma-kes you watch the doors from behind ei-ther makes you discover America.” Per-sonally I do not believe in eventuality, asI understand, causality is the conse-quence of acts.When I was a kid I discovered a mas-terwork of El Greco: “Portrait of Jeró-nima de las Cuevas”, that fascinatedme during my youth. I had the opportu-nity to study with affection this artist’smasterwork. Later on I met Amadeo Mo-digliani and “How wonderful!” I found arelationship between the painter’s mas-ter works and my dear Dodi. The aes-thetic language of both was in a perfecttuning and with a time distance of morethan two hundred years. How can thatbe? That was the key that draw my cu-riosity, but my imprudence forgot thatthe art, once it absorbs you, it demandsall the complicity between the authorsand the spectator. Otherwise it would becraftsmanship. Then you are a defeatedman, and the art wins. You find that thefeelings, an ethereal particularity, theyadmit all imaginable shapes and des-criptions.
What are your hobbies during your lei-sure time?I enjoy studying my masters Rambám,Spinoza, Abulafia, Bubber, Sholem andthere is a fantastic and unique work thatdrives me: “The Tania” from Rab SneurZalman of Liadi.Baroque music fills me up, travelling intime through Vivaldi, Bach, Albinoni, etc.And naturally, the immersion on my pic-tures; discovering where the artist soul ishidden is an adventure without compari-son. I think this is my great passion and,to let go adrenaline, I like very much fo-otball, which I practiced for many years �

de diseñadores y modelistas
que tenemos en Mazel. Por
otro lado este proyecto ha
servido para que nuestros di-
señadores mas jóvenes pue-
dan crecer profesionalmen-
te con un reto real y abrirse
las puertas de los estudios
de nuestros clientes en todo
el mundo.

presented as part on the
last meeting of the National
Championship season of
GT, and through the hand of
Sunred team, the new SRX.
About the SRX, originally
called the SR08, we should
have to highlight the Ma-
zel´s contribution has
made this project through
its Department of Design
and Prototyping Workshop
who designed (2D-3D) mo-
deling and built the first
motorshow prototype and
the masters for the final
body constructed in carbon
fiber of this spectacular GT
also will have an electric
version with which it wants
to compete at the highest
level.For me, acting head of the
Design Department, this
project has allowed me,
hand in hand with my team,
demonstrating once again
the great capacity and pro-
fessionalism of this great lit-
tle group of designers and
modellers we have in Ma-
zel. Moreover, this project
has helped our younger de-
signers to grow professio-
nally with a real challenge
and opened the doors of
the studies of our custo-
mers all around the world.

SRX confirm on the track all
the potential he has shown
in these last races of the se-

Empezóhace 7 años elproyecto más laborio-so y entregado que la vidale ha ofrecido, siendo ma-dre de su primera hija, He-lena, y posteriormente lallegada de Arturo (4 años).
Consigo sacar una temero-sa sonrisa a Susana cuan-do le pregunto: ¿Conside-ras ir aprobando con éxitoestas dos asignaturas tanimportantes de la vida?Pues creo que sí, o por lomenos la felicidad que metransmiten mis hijos día adía me demuestran quemuy mal no se me estádando. Intento ir aprobandoy sobre todo, mejorandolos errores que cometo paraintentar subir nota. Estecambio de vida, viviendo enuna ciudad como Madrid,me hizo reducir mi jornadalaboral, y con ello, a re-nunciar a otros cargos demás responsabilidad dentrola empresa. Pero sin duda,ese tiempo extra me haayudado a dar una mejorcalidad a mi entorno fami-liar.
¿Qué significa para ti, yqué te aporta el clarinetecuando tu mente está can-sada después de una se-mana intensa de trabajo?
Cuando empiezan las cla-ses, me transporto a mi ju-ventud y a mi infancia. Esun momento en el que es-tamos solos la música yyo. Esa desconexión delmundo real y esa paz quesiento durante el tiempoque dura la clase, me lim-pian mente y cuerpo de lastensiones acumuladas y dela polución que respiramosen el día a día.Sostener el clarinete confuerza positiva, expulsarintensamente el aire es-tancado del interior y trans-formarlo en notas musica-
les que acarician la piel enel exterior, es parte de estamagia que siento en misclases de música.
¿Cómo consigues compa-ginarlo con tu vida fami-liar?Gracias a Eduardo, mi ma-rido, con quien comparto to-das las tareas familiares yque ejerce de madre-pa-dre en esos ratos y haceque los 4 nos sintamosmuy a gusto con lo que ha-cemos.
¿Cuál es tu meta con elclarinete? ¿Simplementees una actividad extra dia-ria para tu bienestar, otienes algún objetivo con-creto?¿Sinceramente? Me emo-
cionaría entrar en El Con-servatorio. Pero ello re-quiere ir todos los días aclase y dedicarle muchomás tiempo del que ac-tualmente dedico. Allíaprendería y perfeccionaríamucho todo lo que sé ytendría la obligación de en-frentarme al Piano, instru-mento esencial en esta ca-rrera musical.Hoy por hoy, no me veo ca-paz de involucrarme enesta carrera, pero cuandomis pequeños crezcan, es-pero que la vida me ofrez-ca esta oportunidad. De momento, mi próximaaventura es asistir con miscompañeros de la Bandade Música de Daganzo aEurodisney en Paris. Visité Eurodisney con mifamilia hace tres años, nosencantó, sobre todo la ca-balgata que hacen diaria-mente los personajes deDisney por todo el Parque yahora, voy a volver tocando
el clarinete con la Banda enesa cabalgata. Para mi

week?When the lessonsstart, I bringmyself back to my
youth and my child-hood. It’s a moment
alone between musicand me. The disconnec-
tion of the real world andthe peace I feel during the les-son cleans up my mind andbody from the accumulatedtensions and the pollutionthat we breathe daily. Holding the clarinet with a po-
sitive strength, letting outslowly the stagnant air of myinterior and transforming thenotes that caress the skin isall part of the magic I feel inmy music lessons.
How do you manage to han-dle this with your family life?Thanks to my husband Eduar-do with whom I share all thefamily responsibilities and fur-thermore he does the roll ofboth mother and father inthose moments and he ma-kes all four of us feel very com-fortable with what we do.
What is your purpose withthe clarinet? Is it just an ex-tra activity for your well-being or do you any specificobjective? Frankly speaking, I’d love en-tering the conservatory. My next adventure is to attendwith my comrades from theDaganzo group to Euro Disneyin Paris. Three years ago I vi-sited Euro Disney with my fa-mily we loved it; specially thecavalcade that the Disneycharacters do throughout thepark. This time I’m comingback playing the clarinet withthe Band in this cavalcade.This is really exciting for me! Designing aircrafts, changingnapkins, being up to the ex-pectations of my work team,remembering the maths whenhelping my children with theirhomework (after so many ye-ars using the wonderful cal-culator), travelling to Romewith the EADS customers andexposing the knowledge andjustifying the delivery deadli-nes, delighting the audiencewith the sound of the clarinetwhich delivers strength waves,fulfilment feelings and most ofall effort, demonstrate thevalues of a remarkable personwith whom ITD-Mazel Group isprivileged to join in their work-force �
